6.6% on this label, but it looks the same. Very nice dry roasted aroma and flavor. Dialed in and complex. Not sure why it’s called a double stout, but I liked it.

Shared 375 ml. bottle @ Post-Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Ridiculous wax, this is like what pure plastic? Great label. Dark amber, little tanned head. Nose is sweet oxidized leaves, basic sweet sugar & matls, tad much oxidation, very basic boozy cognac. Taste is cooked apple, sugar, sugar, leaves, oxidation, very basic, big empty with cheap cognac. Body is syrup, sugar & some oxidation. Bit too simple & basic, decent & nice but expected more to be honest.

330 ml. bottle split. Didn’t note the exact ABV but it was more 2 – 3 % versus 3.9 % noted here. Change of recipe? BBF 26/06/2017. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is big watery with big fruity hop, passionfruit, mango, fruity peel, lovely,… Taste is touch watery, same goes for the body, there is some yeast, hop profile is lovely, mango, big juicy passionfruit, low dough,… Really good hop profile, could have used more body but overall pretty good hop expression. Nice one for a low ABV one.
