3.2 Julian Church Vicar Of Dribbley Cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Golden yellow, a dash of white head and a fair bit of lacing. Light peachy-grapefruit aromas. Taste isn’t quite as balanced. There’s a fair bit of grainy malt sticking out like a fishbone, but it still has a modestly pleasant bittersweet flavour. Sufficiently full body, buoyed up by the natural carbonation. Decent stuff. Rounded bittersweet taste with some stone fruit. Dry finish, but a bit too bitter for what’s come before. Ok all in all. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 | |
