Vander Mill Green Mill
Bomber pours a clear pale copper. Sweet sugary Apple aroma with boozy bourbon and oak. Taste is tart and sour apples meeting vanilla and caramel oak with a bourbon punch. Itís hard to tell if itís just not my thing or if itís just not good. Either way I wonít be drinking much of this.

It pours light pale yellow with a white head. It has a medium smooth body with soft carbonation from the nitro. The taste has semi sweet apples, honey smoothness, floral notes and a bit of sharpness on the finish. Nice.

Vander Mill Nunica Pine
On tap at Ellynís Tap & Grill in Glen Ellyn, IL., and dispensed to a tulip showing a clear & bright, light gold/straw color, with a quickly diminishing layer of soft white foam that was replaced by a persistent, thin ring, and light spots of lacing. The nose was sweetness, apple & skins, subtle spice, and a bit of resin. Ditto on the flavor, light to medium bodied, with lively carbonation, tartness & tanginess, and a pleasantly dry finish.

Vander Mill Totally Roasted Cider
It pours bright light clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma has way more pecans than I expected, rough spice and apples, but the apples are more in the back with adjuncts on front. It has a medium smooth body with really soft carbonation. Oh man, this is tasty. Nice balance of apples, pecans and vanilla. The cinnamon is there but fairly light. Probably good to have it light as it could overtake. Really tasty, super easy drinking and very interesting.

Can. Pale straw with small head. Tart green apple and fairly dry, not crazy so. I wish there was a little bit of yeast funk, but an enjoyable cider regardless.

On tap at Hopcat. Pours a murky light yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has sweet dry apple with a bit of grass and a light mustiness. Flavor combines grass and sweet apple up front with marijuana in the finish.

Vander Mill Blue Gold
Danish pint from a pint can; from Keg Liquors. Aroma: Semi-sweet apple juice with a touch of blueberries; virtually nothing in the way of tartness. Appearance: Transparent, still berry tinted gold with no head. Flavor: Semi-sweet juice up front; blueberry comes in more halfway through, but doesnít add any tartness or additional complexities; the finish lingers. Palate: Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: On the dull side of things all around.

16oz can. A pretty cool Cider. Dry, medium bodied. Pale yellow body. No real head. The aroma is quite unique...cinnamon, vanilla, pecan. Not in line with an Ice Cider or something of that magnitude, but quite an enjoyable beverage.

Vander Mill Puff the Magic Cyser
Shared bomber. Clean, shiney light gold. This is the best "cider" I have experienced. Granted, Iíve had few because Iíve been of the opinion that they pretty much taste the same-- like hard cider. Not this one. Oak character. Hints, just hints of bourbon. Apple and honey, but not the tart fruity character of apple nor the sweet stickiness of honey. Everything balanced nicely. Definitely a "buy again."

Draft at The Brass Tap-U Square, served in a flight. Pours a clear gold color with no head. Tart, tangy, sharp red apple skins have the slight edge over the honey sweetness, earthy florals, and oaky bourbon notes. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation. I need to try more cysers.

Vander Mill Nunica Pine
On tap at Bushwhacker Woodlawn, pours a clear blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out perfumey floral hops upfront, along with pine and dry apples. Flavour is fairly acidic, with quite restrained dry hopping and bone dry apple skins. Medium acidity on the finish. Itís okay - there are much better examples of hopped ciders.
