From cask. Slightly hazy pale color with a bit of white head. Aroma is really grainy with some comes wheat notes and some grassy hops in the background. Taste follows with the grainy note, really balanced, just slightly bitter on the finish. Medium body, almost flat. Quite interesting, really rustic real ale.

Cask @ Erzbierschof, Zurich. Run through a sparkler. Gold pour with a prominent creamy head. Fairly mild-mannered nose. Angel food cake and sugar cookies. Some mellow white grape and grass. Flavor is balanced and somewhat muted. Sweet grain. Mild grass. Apricot spread. Condition isn’t partucularly lively. Ho-hum.

On tap @ Erzbierschof Zurich. Almost pitch black with a brownish-beige head. Aroma of coffee and some sweet thing, not sure if chocolate or vanilla, but certainly sweet. Taste is milder than expected; light bitterness after a first sweet touch. Soft carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a great aftertaste. I knew it, it was Vanilla. Overall pretty nice!
