Small Town Not Your Momís Iced Tea
So sweet I had to dump it out. The first taste was of fermenting tea and lemon....but then the sugar bomb dropped and I was done. GROSS.

Small Town Not Your Fathers Root Beer (5.9%)
Bottle from IGA, Cookeville, Tennessee. Not so much strong tasting in strength, but certainly in its medicinal character, which lingers long. Has a sticky-sweet texture.

Small Town Not Your Momís Iced Tea
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours rather the color of iced tea with no head at all. Smells like used tea leaves that have sat out for a bit. Near med body. Flavor is fermented/black tea with just a hint of lemon and some sugar. Itís actually rather nice - the tea bitter tends to offset the sugar. Could be lake beer.

Small Town Not Your Moms Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/29/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear light pink color with a foamy pink head that drops to nothing nearly instantly. No lacing on the glass, and a good amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart strawberries, rhubarb, vanilla, and candy sugar. Nice aromas with good balance of fruit, vanilla, and sugary sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart strawberries, rhubarb, vanilla, and candy sugar. Light fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of juicy/lightly tart strawberries, rhubarb, vanilla, and candy sugar on the finish for a while. Nice robustness and balance of fruit, vanilla, and sugary sweetness; with a good malt/tartness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from carbonation and fruit tartness. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/foamy, and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.9%. Overall this is a pretty good fruit/spiced beer. All around good robustness and balance of fruit, vanilla, and sugary sweetness; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; thanks to the effervescent carbonation. Hit all of my expectations, tastes exactly as advertised. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pale gold with an abundant white head. Doughy sweet aroma. A little sweet with a minor amount of alcohol dryness. No real hop bitterness. Blander than I would have guessed for a malt liquor. Short finish. Quite forgettable.

Cracked a few of these with my grandma in a hotel this afternoon. Ice cold 12 oz can. This beer pours yellow and drinks fine. It reminds me of something kinda like a can of cheap mineral water but instead of raspberry or some other nonsense flavour they used beer instead. Iím not knocking it because of this. Itís pretty much flawless and really easy to drink.

22 oz bomber purchased from Winco in S.Salem OR. $5.79 Clear bright yellow beer with a large and creamy/thick white head. Strange fruity/berry aromas...raspberry and and hay. Weird but nice. Tsste similar to the aroma and really not a pils.. it has the grassy hop but it is so berry /fruity you would think it was a fruit beer. The mouth feel was fine..nthing t complain about. Strange for a pilsner OK for a fruit beer without fruit?

Small Town Not Your Fatherís Root Beer (10.7%)
Dark brown color was typical of a strong ale or barleywine, and the head was one to two fingers in thickness. The smell of vanilla was very strong upon poring, and bringing the beer to nose made the smell so intense. Other than vanilla, I could also smell some licorice. The taste was very dominated by vanilla and licorice as well. The flavor was very sweet and root beery, and alcohol was dangerously well hidden. If there was one thing I would have liked better, it was having some more carbonation. The flatness made the beer taste a little too sweet in the end. The body was silky smooth in texture. I usually donít like heavily flavored beers. I picked it up based on goo reviews, and it was better than most.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/22/2017. Pours crystal clear deep orange/copper color with no head. Some slight spotty lacing and streaming carbonation. Okay appearance. Aromas of lemon, black tea, brown sugar, honey, caramel, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of lemon, tea, and dark malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, black tea, brown sugar, honey, caramel, and herbal earthiness. Slight herbal tea bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, black tea, brown sugar, honey, caramel, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a while. Good robustness and balance of lemon, tea, and dark malt flavors; with a bit of cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth and lightly slick/syrupy mouthfeel that is okay. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a decent fruit/spiced beer. Bottle. Cinnamon, vanilla, apple, malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Very sweet cinnamon/vanilla, candied apple, light caramel malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light body. Really canít be too hard on this - it IS supposed to taste like apple pie and it succeeds. A sugar bomb.

It is what it is: cheap, cold, refreshing, American and a typical session beer. Donít like it, donít buy it. I enjoy drinking this watery swill when I donít feel like a heavy IPA, Porter or Stout. This is to say, this goat pee has its merits!

6/3/17. 12oz bottle from Two Guys, Waycross. Clear golden pour, no head. Huge fake cinnamon aroma, like one of those cinnamon whiskey shots, sweet apple, vanilla. Fake cinnamon dominates the flavor as well, some sweet apple, really really like when you put fireball whiskey into an apple cider on a cold fall day... except worse and more fake. Bleh.

Tallboy from 7-11. Looks and pours like a typical ice tea. Chemical like aroma and taste. Pretty much taste like a Brisk with about a lb of sweetíN-low and a dash of rubbing alcohol. Goes down smooth, but youíre better off with Twisted Tea.

Small Town Not Your Moms Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear, light pink with no head. Aroma has notes of tart strawberries and other assorted tart fruits, and slight vanilla. Just what the label suggests. A bit like strawberry cool-aid or a juice box. Taste is on the sweeter side with no trace of bitterness. Kind of like a carbonated, strawberry juice box with afterthoughts of Vanilla cream. Tasty enough but no traditional beer flavour. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly syrupy in the mouth. Overall, for what it is, pretty good. Not a traditional beer but for what it is, it is done well.

Old Milwaukee NA
Aroma is hay and grass. A bit of a yeastiness came out as it warmed. Rather muted. Clear yellow with golden depth and a full white head that faces quickly to a collar. Taste is hay, with moderate bitterness. Some aspects of smoothness in the back. An off lemon-polish aspect at the death. Certainly, there are worse NAs than this. [p.s. - raising the score a bit as I had a couple more of these as my brother left a twelve pack and they are sitting around. There is a rounded flavor to this and it lacks many of the harsh characteristics of many NAs and even cheap lagers. Have to say, his text to me that it is the first NA that taste like the real one scared me a bit.] [p.p.s.....may I never re-rate another non-alc in my life!]
