Airways Rye Pale Ale
Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a golden bronzed color with a thin white foamy head. Mild dissipation. Sly stringy lace. The aroma had spicy sharp rye to bitter citric hops. Some toast invades. The flavor keeps the spicy sharp crisp rye melding nicely with the hops and bites into the aftertaste decently. Some of this rides into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt right. Overall, nicely done rye pale ale that if I could I would have again.

Airways Smoked Doppelbock
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a ruddy golden orange sort of muddy color. Thin white foamy head. Moderate lace. The aroma had some smoke, apples, soft caramel malts and then some breadiness. The flavor had a sweet smokiness to it, really nice blend. Malts are clean and full with a nice smooth aftertaste rolling into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Smooth smoky silkiness clings appropriately to the ABV and feels very well done along my tongue. Overall, holy cow, what a damn good smoked beer. I never would have thought! Wish I could get this on a daily basis.

Airways Chocolate Mint Stout
Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a thin cap of a white foamy head that dissipated at a moderate pace. Sly messy lace. The aroma had a ton of milk chocolate up front with some light mint in the background. Some cereal tones further underneath. The flavor leans to the sweet side with the chocolate and cereal qualities. Mint comes out after a little bit of warming. Milk chocolate aftertaste with barely any mint. Quick semi-sweet chocolatey finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Fair smooth on my tongue. Overall, seems more of a chocolate stout with some mint far underneath. Do-able. I could have again, but mint lovers might want more mint.

Bottled labeled Tri-Jet. Sweet at first then becomes bitter and dry. Some coffee. Bitter cocoa nibs. A bit watery for a sweet stout as its cold, but warms up to a bit more body.. Some char. Thx andrewje41.

Sweet I can add stuff and someone will put the description in for me! I used to be admin, not sure why I'm not one anymore, probably has to do with Enloe top Chazz bottom or "beer tastes like beer, meh" (John, 2008). Either way, thanks! Nose is like the description, not overly assertive but nice and juicy with some white sugar and soft malt like a hoppy hefe like a lot of these juice ipas really. Hazy murky milk juice oowehhhehhhhhh shot a load . Flavors of nice tropical hops mild bitterness hefe base some white sugar. Easy to drink. Chazz would approve but he doesn't drink local murk haze juice just stuff from tree house because he's a tech bro with cash money mane. Draft pour pint at Airways. One of 3 beers they have on at the kitchen taoroom, as they move and expand. Clear golden pour with a rocky foam head and lace. Soft grains and hops aroma. A refreshing blonde with good hop character. Semi dry finish. Very pleasant overall.

Airways Rye Pale Ale
The one I had was called Airways Golden Rye Ale. Appropriate golden body topped by a luscious frothy head. Nice sharp spicy bitter hop nose intermingled with golden 2-row grains, freshly milled. A hint of toastiness. The body is toasty golden grain with the hops taking more of a backseat. Thin hoppiness, slightly tannic bitter finish. Crisp and enjoyable.

Airways Very Loud Lady
Draught at Brouwerís Cafť, Seattle
Cloudy orange blond color. Very nice aroma, oranges and pot, spicy too. Quite sweet; the malt is a bit too mild, nice juicy and orangey hopping.
At the festival, this is the best aroma, but the flavor is too mellow.

Airways Very Loud Lady
Draft pour into a schooner at the collective. Iíve never heard a very loud lady on a plane before, but I have heard a very loud fart. Does that count? I donít think the beer would sell well with that name, but it was definitely memorable. Pours a cloudy peach orange color with a fading foam heaf. Soft fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet. Peach heavy with tangerine, and a hippy finish. Lingering fruit though. Overall an excellent, standout triple. Loved it.

Airways Test Pilot V.2
Draft pour pint at the brewery. Every time Iím here at the brewery, itís after I got done golfing, and a beer sounds like the best thing in the world. Cloudy orange peach color with a white swirl foam head. Aroma is earthy hops. Cracker flavor, a bit juicy citrus, lingering low bitter hops. Soft butter. Creamy finish. Tasty beer overall, but being parched prior may have helped the cause. Enjoyed this one.

Airways Very Loud Lady
On tap at Brouwerís Cafe, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus--especially orange--rinds, and piney and resinous hops. Flavour is very well-constructed, with lots of oranges, orange rinds, resinous hops and a good caramel malt backing. Loads of flavour and very harmonious, especially for the style. Excellent.

Airways Winter Lager
Draft pour pint at the 192 Lake trail taproom. Rating #2011, the same year American brewing was born. I still think winter beers are my favorite season. Such a wide range and I live winter style lagers. Solid one here. Pours black with a quick fade fizz head. Soft malty aroma. Flavor is a big chocolate, with a lighter body. Drinks very easy, as advertised. Ideal winter beer if you prefer to not have to chew it. Refreshing. Nicely done.

Pale blonde body with a silky head. The nose delivers a surprisingly fresh harvest of cereal grains that dance softly from the glass. Light cereal grains and corn flavors wrapped up in a light-bodied ale. Freshly milled tannic grains on the finish. Solid for a cream ale.

I get it! Cause on airplanes someone is always kicking your seat! Haha. I love it. 22 Oz bottle purchased from the brewery. Huge foam head. Hop heavy forward aroma. Flavor is a bit on the dry side, dusty, with some grassy hops. Pretty bitter, but not in a bad way. Tasty IPA.

Draft pour schooner at the brewery. Bistro location. Pours a near black color with a patchy tan head. Toasty aroma. Flavor has a very nice roast to it, but also a dessert sweetness quality. Creamy body, and a bit nutty. Itís a bit nutty! Movie quote from my childhood moment there. Anyway, solid porter. Good flavor. Enjoyed this.

Airways Midnight Departure
Draught at Collective on Tap, Woodinville, WA; 16oz
Black color. A Black IPA by the book, perfect balance of everything that is expected: roasted malts, resiny hops; good body strength, not dry, and the hop pungency is also very nice.
Excellent.

Airways #AvGeek
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark gold with a creamy white head. Seems to have a lot of strange fruits and perhaps a hint of pine for aroma. Med body or better. Flavor is very hoppy with strange fruits and a bready caramel for backbone. Thereís a real mouthtingling hop sensation. Prior rating suggested diacetyl, and tho I am very sensitive to it, this bottle doesnít have it. Or maybe, happily, Iíve lost my ability to detect it! Doubt that. Iím having a good time with the hop/fruit. Finishes decently bitter.

Beer #1 of 13 in blind tasting.
Headless pour. A little autolysis (soy sauce) and charred malts. Low hop, not pronounced sweetness. I picked this beer up and in hindsight it performed fine enough. On another side note, I understand the idea of a flight based theme for a brewery. However, do I really want to buy a beer called final departure?
The aggregate score placed this slightly below average.

Mild orange peel and caramel nose, maybe some soft biscuit, fair amount of popcorn butter. Slick medium body with soft carb. Lightly toasted caramel, some orange peel, and even more popcorn butter.
