Full Pint White Lightning
On tap at Beerhead. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Musk on the nose, soft wheat, a bit of fruit. Medium bodied, warm musk, a bit of banana and yeast. Yeast comes through into the finish, musky and more banana. Easy drinking, nice yeast character, nice wheat.

The flavor was tart and bitter with cedar, wood, pine, smoke and brown sugar elements. Very long finish. Medium body. Ok.

12oz capped bottle. No date. No idea what brewery this is. Black body, mediun tan head. Aroma had lots of barrel and spicy rye. Very woody with lots of spicy rye. Woody dry black malts. Lightly evaporating alcohol. Dry. Flavor is similarly dry but not acrid black malts with bitter malts and strong spicy elements. No strong alcohol. Very drying and not big but alcohol present.

On-tap at Full Pint Brewery today. The good - it is very drinkable and not bitter. There is no aftertaste. The bad - it has a cheap, water-downed taste, and the aroma is very plain except it reminds me a bit of vomit smell.

On tap at Full Pint Brewery. For me there is no grapefruit aroma or taste. Very bitter, with bitter aftertaste. No sweetness. All IPA, no fruit. Low ABV as well. Out of the 5 Full Pint beers I drank today, this was my least favorite.

Full Pint T-Funk
On-tap at Full Pint Brewery. Very strong candy-like aroma, with some subtle smell of fruit. This is probably the most sour/tart beer I have ever had. I normally enjoy sour tasting beer, but this is the extreme and actually too much for me. T-Funk is truly like drinking Sweet Tart candy.

On tap at Full Pint Brewery. Not much of an aroma. Smoother than their Session IPA, but still some bitterness. Not sweet tasting to me. Not bad but not as enjoyable as Idahop or White Lightning.

Out of the 6 beers I sampled at Full Pint Brewery today, this was my favorite. Pleasant aroma. As far as taste, both hoppy and fruity at the same time. It blends together well. I enjoyed this beer. My wife even liked it.

Full Pint White Lightning
Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a pale yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly died off. Not much lace, somewhat sliding and stringy. The aroma had some citrusy sweet hops, white bread, some floral tones, little bit of barnyard, light hay, perfumey sweet cloves, and ended with some dried leaves. The flavor was sweet all of the way through with a super low key amount of the cloves. Aftertaste was totally sweet and ran into the finish in the same way. The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fairly low and the ABV felt fine. Got pretty smooth all around and though I often hate to use this over used word "watery," yes, this would be an example of a beer to say that this is "watery." Overall, another witbier by an American brewer that keeps it a "session" styled witbier with the lack of the "Belgian spice," a robust Belgian yeast and a thicker body.

Full Pint Little Brown Ale
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a slow pace. Sly roaming lace. The aroma had some sweet and roasty nuts up front then a light caramel/toffee malt base. Light floral, citrusy and earthy hops came in for a nice balance. The flavor was semi-sweet with a light bitterness and a decent roastiness. Aftertaste was nuts, leather a little bit of baker’s chocolate. Finish was the same. The palate was medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. A touch drier than I expected along my tongue. Overall, pretty good brown ale that I could have again.

On tap at pig iron. Very expensive brew. Red brown & clear. Smell is typical flanders. Taste also, makes me immediately think of rodenbach. Perhaps a little more tart but I found this beer interesting and satisfying all the way to the end. Nice job, just wish I didn’t have to pay thru the nose to have it.

My first witbier and it made me want to try more. No alcohol taste, no bitterness, smooth as can be. Decent ABV at 6%. Much better than Great Lakes Holy Moses. Full Pint could improve their packaging though.

Nearly black in color with a tan head. Really nice roasted malt aroma. Just a hint of sweetness on the palate but balanced by the roasted malt character. Not too sweet which is my usual critique of this style. Nice work!

Aroma caramel, herbs, butterscotch, Appearance amber, cloudy, tan foam, Taste light sweetness, Palate light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, Overall this beer tastes like water with a tiny amount of spice in it. The 6% is not there so this is one of those beers you can drink very quick. I would not suggest this beer to a friend.

Now THIS is a great beer! Aroma was sour wheat, lemon and acid. Pour was a nice hazy light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was even better than the aroma. More sour than most commercially made goses; which is awesome. Near mouth puckering with the acid, lemon and wheat flavors biting at the cheeks. Just a small hint of salinity; just enough to keep the texture right. Very mild carbonation and a nice sour lingering finish. Great beer!

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a nice one finger frothy off-white head that had decent retention. The nose is fairly light on the grapefruit, with some citrusy hops, crackery malt, light caramel, and some light yeast. The flavor is pretty pithy, with a grapefruit zest bitterness. There’s not much sweetness in here, mostly bready maltiness, with a slight yeastiness on the finish. Not the most complex of brews, but it’s drinkable. Lighter bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a fairly short bitter finish. Meh, not a standout, but a single is fine.

Bottle. To be fair, I’m not a big lover of the style. This is pretty close to the style standard, I suppose, and lacks any technical faults, so maybe my rating should be discounted. There’s not much nose on this as-expectedly light, hazy yellow beer. No head whatsoever. Drinks with a very, very light tartness, and just a tinkle of some spiciness, but otherwise this is a fairly hollow glass. (#6418, 11/25/2016)

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours black with a tan head and lacing. The aroma is roasted coffee and hops. The taste is coffee, chocolate, and hops. This is a very hoppy stout. There’s very little chocolate taste. It’s heavy on bitter coffee and hops. It’s dry. This is different and good.

Tap, IPH. Pale with an almost art nose. First taste is OH SO GOOD! Friendly mildly sour beer but not too sour. For such a high abv% this stuff is great. It hides the alky so well. This beer rocks! I think I like beer with no hops, yummEEEE.

Finally had a chance to try this at the IPH robinson. Pale with a tint of almost orange light maroon tint. Mild hot pepper coffee spicy smell. First taste is same, spicy coffee pepper. Not bad. Not as much heat as I was expecting for a habenaro, but what ev. I wish I had more heat. In the end the coffee pepper thing takes over. Gows on you in the finish.

12 ounce bottle pour into tall tulip. Nice tan head and lacing. Good roasted nose, mouth feel a little weak for a stout, outstanding hop presence. I hate to be the first to rate this since I don’t like black IPA and this is what it is. If you do like black IPA or, large and in charge black hoppy beers in general, you got to try it, it’s terribly on style, so ignore my numbers. On tap at bocktown. Smells a little like hot tar. Nice lacing. Fortunately, lots of stout flavor. The hops certainly shine thru but not as much as I was expecting. Why does everything today have to be like ubiquitous IPA today? Just asking.
