Lagunitas Dark Swan
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of grape juice. Grape juice color, ivory head that nearly disappears, no lace. Taste is an odd beer/wine combo that doesn’t work for me on any level whatsoever.

Lagunitas High West-ified Imperial Coffee Stout
Draft at beer basement. Aroma of rich thick bourbon vanilla, chocolate, caramelised malt, coffee and red fruit. Taste is a real beast, with lucious whiskey vanilla, smooth coffee, milk chocolate, cherry, caramelised malt and an endless finish. Very good, on par with bcbs coffee.

Lagunitas A Little Sumpin’ Extra! Ale
Pours near clear golden with an initial froth that fades quickly to a ring. Aroma is amazing - bread dough, biscuit, a slight sweet of citrus. I could sniff this all day. Flavor brings more hop punch to the mix with the start of the sip with more citrus character and a hint of pine. Unlike so many current dipas, this mild bitter tang is very well balanced by a never-overdone malt backbone, near perfect in the balance to remain smooth and only medium-bodied. Finish is incredibly smooth, a slight sweet fades to a lasting mild bitter, insisting on another sip. The smoothness and drinkability is remarkable.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep purple red with bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of sweet and sour cranberry and cherry notes. Taste is sweeter than the nose, a hint of funk underneath.

Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday (2017)
Bottle from QC, drank at home. Pours a slightly hazy light golden-tan. Smells very nice: orange, citrusy and creamy, grassy hop, faintly sweetish crisp malt. Taste is more bitter than the nose, medium pepper, dry lightly spicy finish. Body is medium bitterness, lightly peppery, finish is fluffy frothy and a bit stony. Good! Lots of flavour for a pale ale.

Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday (2017)
Bottle from QClub at home. Slightly hazy golden copper pour with bone white head. Aroma is nice - dank zesty hops with pineapple. Taste is similar but less zesty and more piney bitterness, slightly unfresh tasting but not as bad as I thought. Lingering vegetal bitterness. Some boozy warmth. Not bad - would probably be really good fresh.

Lagunitas Born Again Yesterday
Tap the bloomsbury lanes on a work night out. A whole pint. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is lovely juicy citrus tropical peach, and pine. Soft bready malts. Flavour is composed of raw bready grains, juicy tropical fruits, stone fruit, mango, and pine in the finish. Palate is sticky, medium carbonation,. Super drinkable. Very well balanced.

Lagunitas Maximus
Copenhagen 25/7 2017. 35,5 cl bottle from Meny. Just says "Maximus" on the label with Hops slowly entangling the corners on the label. Pours clear golden copper yellow with white head. Head settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is rich and strong. Sweet exotic fruit with a sweet boozy fermented touch. More subdued citric notes. Almost sugary intensity. Soft carbonation and sluggish palate. Flavor is fairly sweet but balanced by distinct bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with semi dry finish. There is no boozy or metallic alcohol here - but none the less you are not in doubt that this beer has a healthy ABV.

Lagunitas 12th of Never
Pint can from VE. Nose big caramel with earth and a little spice, wood; faintly floral, citric, hoppy. Pour clear, dull golden with a fluffy, bright white head. Taste very hoppy, lots of orange peel and grapefruit zest, oil, soapy cleansing of the palate, faint papery wood, but mostly citrus oil. Soft but not quite chalky, very low bitterness, highly refreshing and appropriate for multiples at the BBQ or swimming hole. Low resin, subtle grass, round wheat, relatively dry with just a hint of zesty sweetness from the hops. Just super chill and satisfying. [2017.07.24: 3.8]

Lagunitas Dark Swan
Ruddy purple pour with a one finger, milky lavender head that has great retention. Aroma is red (Concord-ish) grapes, straw, spicy, earthy and herbal hops, faint dark caramel notes and some lactic tartness. Flavor is red grape juice, earthy hops, tart stone fruit, lemony wheat, a hint of chocolate, faint caramel, grape jelly, earthy and green woody notes and spicy citrus hops. Light to medium body, slightly syrupy entry, medium to heavy and fairly sharp carbonation, moderate acidity and dry and not quite puckering acidity. I like this stuff a lot more than I thought I would, even though it tastes like it’s mixed with Welch’s Grape Juice.

Can. Pours a gigantic head. Frothy. Hazy golden color. Aroma is fantastic with tropical and citrus fruit flavors. Peach, pineapple, lemon, orange. Light bodied. Medium light bitterness. Average carbonation. Tastes like a session IPA. It's an excellent mild hopped fruity summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized purple colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated body semi-transparent purple hued colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was funky. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering funky aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of funk and fruity. An OK brew just nothing special.

12 ounce bottle. Pours amber, nice head and carbonation. For such a high IBU count, surprisingly drinkable. Used to drink this one in bombers but thankfully are now selling it in 6 packs. A nice hop loaded beer that could be enjoyed more than once on a Sunday afternoon.

Pours an orange color, well maybe amber. About one finger thick white head. Good retention and rather excellent lacing.

Aroma is juicy. Lots of citrus, tropical fruit. Malty.

Taste is sweet and hoppy bitter. Citrus, peach, a little grapefruit. Bitter. Malty.

Mouthfeel is medium/full bodied. Sweet and hoppy. Bitter. Easy drinking.

Overall, this is very good. Very malty, very hoppy. I’d buy this again, and I would recommend it.

Ar: Sulfur, chalk, and cracker malt; herbal, lemony, and spicy hops, quite refined. Ap: Yellow gold and clear; medium white head with moderate-low retention, leaving some splotchy foam cover. T: Cracker malt and chalk; bright, clean, and high bitterness up front, lingering throughout; grassy; dough and more hay, with herbal and lemony hop flavor; crackers and grass on the finish. P: Light body and steely; high carbonation; finish is dry. O: Very good pilsner; hops are bright and punchy, with a big noble European quality; malt and water profile are crisp and firm; quaffable and full of flavor.

This is a damn tasty pale ale. Pushing the boundaries of the style. This beer had a pretty weak aroma. Pineapple and light malt. Pour was a hazy medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was a lot better than the aroma. Bursting with fresh hop flavor with pineapple, grapefruit and a slight lemon note. Carbonation left quickly and became flat halfway through the glass. Bitter hoppy finish

On keg @ Hectors. Appearance - pale yellow. Light haze and thin head. Nose - lemon and plant stalks. Taste - mainly lemon and lemon curd. Some resin. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture. The finish could be cleaner. Overall - this one is a bit sweet. More like a bock than a pale ale.
