Burnside / Shonan Sakura Gose
22 oz. bottle from LIfesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR $4.99 Pours a hazy yellow coloured beer with a nice steady thick pure white head, Aroma of the sea and flowers..some slight clove and ginger. Salty slightly but well balanced by the fruit of the cherries..leaving a pleasing yet mild sourness. Good. Very nice mouthfeel with the salt coming to the fore right at the end..lesding to another sip..rinse and repeat. Very nice hot weather type beer

First impression is sour citrus, brine, and flowers. Taste is lacto with light sour cherry, fuggles and wheat. It’s a hazy yellow with a thin, creamy, white, head. Not at all what I expected, but nice.

Burnside Lime Kolsch
This is a refreshing Kölsch. The Lime flavor is light and well-balanced. It's a refreshing beer but it wasn't the best one of the night. Cheers! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasting at SF
Cloudy blond color. Quite salty, a bit more acidity would help, the flowers are not very evident.
Ok beer.

Straw colour. Not much head. There’s some sakura on the nose. On the palate, sweet pale malts, touch of sakura. Fairly fizzy. The fruit comes across fairly sweet in the finish, too. It’s nice. Not pulling much salt. Refreshing, fruity finish.

Burnside Cherry Berry Pie
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Soft wheat on the nose, not much else. Medium bodied, a good amount of subtle cherry flavors here, with some other fruit behind it. Not the overly artificial fruit syrup flavor a lot of these will get, so if it is those, it’s done with a light hand, which is nice. Clean enough, fruit and wheat on the finish.

Burnside Spring Rye
First noticed is the lovely, cloudy deep amber color and very light colored frothy (though not deep) head. Taste is fairly unique blend of ’dirty’ rye and fruity, almost saison-like maltiness. Very subtle coriander. Minor hop presence. Appreciated on an actual early spring day, 60 degrees and not a cloud, this 22 oz. serving perfectly complimented the afternoon. Kudos to Burnside for stretching the boundaries a bit with this brew.
