Copper Kettle Mexican Chocolate Stout - Double Chocolate
Inky black pour with a fast fading tan head. Big bittersweet dark chocolate nose with cinnamon and roasted green chile peppers. Big slick flavor thatís roasty and darkly sweet with loads of dark chocolate and cinnamon, a gently spicy roasted pepper undertone, more roast and stoutly malts and more dark cocoa. Gentle boozy chocolaty cinnamon spicy finish.

Copper Kettle Snowed In
Appearance: Deep brown black. opaque. Nearly no head. Nose: Deeply roasted malt with aspects of dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, caramel and oak. Quite heady. Taste: Deep sweet booze notes backed up by seriously dark malty roasty chocolate and vanilla. Finishes a touch of coffee and bourbon. Body: Full and silky. Decadent Parting thoughts: Amazing high ABV brew bomb. Amazing. fantastic.

Copper Kettle Well Bred
22 oz bomber from Tavour. Nose is toffee with light vanilla and a hint of bourbon. Clear rusty orange with a medium lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet vanilla caramels with a bit of bourbon in the background. Good but nowhere near great.

Copper Kettle Framboise Sour Ale
Bottle at WTF 4. Pours a hazy ruby gold with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is berry, funk, oak. Medium body, oak, tart berry, grape, light dry finish, good.

Copper Kettle Le Chapeau (2016-)
Brilliantly clear but deep honey golden under a rocky ivory head. Lovely peppery and oak filled nose with a touch of white wine grape and gentle musty sourness. Crisp dry flavor with a good bit of white wine and oak tones, gentle tropical sourness, gentle peppercorn and dusty farmhouse grains before a gentle woodsy funky ending with a pop of white grape. Nice.

Copper Kettle Snowed In
Bomber, 2016 vintage. Coffee aroma with notes of chocolate, whiskey, vanilla and oak. Pours dark brown with a thin mocha brown head that has poor retention and lacing. Starts with sweet chocolate and vanilla flavors with a rich full body and slick mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with coffee and whiskey with a little bit of oak as well as a bit of boozy warmth. Excellent bourbon stout.

Copper Kettle Sobremesa Tequila Barrel Strong Pale Ale (2016-)
Hazy golden with a thin sticky white head. Lovely Limey and lightly Oaked nose with a nice blonde malt background. Crisp and balanced flavor thatís on the one hand dry and blonde but also very lime zesty and Oaked and slightly tequila ish, with a smooth mellow pale malty finish. Simple yet complex. Oaked, limey, slight agave, and pale malt. Semisweet and lightly boozy.†

Copper Kettle Rum Eggnog Stout
Black pour with a thin light beige ring of foam around the edge of the glass. Rich complex nose of sweet creamy sugars, nutmeg, Eggnog sugars, and a kiss of cocoa. Smooth and mellow flavor thatís a little roasty and cocoa-y with gentle nutmeg and creamy sweetness, a kiss of rum, and a earthy clove touch. Weird but kinda tasty in its own right.

Copper Kettle Mexican Chocolate Stout
Pours very dark brown, with a cream colored head. Aroma of peppers. Taste of red peppers, and a hint of chocolate. This one is too heavy on the peppers for me. Canít recommend it unless you like spicy hot beer.

Copper Kettle Snowed In
22 oz bottle with white wax (2016, release no. 4), on sale at Mr. Bís Wine & Spirits for $16.99. Thick, black appearance, with a small, mostly diminishing brown head. Aroma of coffee, oak, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, roasted and light caramel malt. Similar flavor, adding medium to heavy sweetness and mild bitterness. Medium to full body with a slick, creamy feel, a little syrupy, with soft carbonation and a smooth finish. Nice, a little on the sweet side overall, but probably my favorite CKB beer.

Copper Kettle Coconut Chocolate Porter
Dark hazy chestnut hue under a thin light tan cap. Beautiful chocolate and toasted coconut aroma that smells like an Almond Joy. Smooth milk chocolate flavor with a ton of shaved sweet coconut and gentle roasted black malt. Basically an Almond Joy/Mounds bar in a glass but kinda mellow and could use a bit more booze.

On tap at Hops & Pie. Reddish amber appearance with an off-white head. Aroma of toasted oak, caramel malt, toffee, vanilla, light fruity esters and a touch of bourbon spice. Similar flavor, rich, medium plus sweetness with notes of chocolate rounding things out. Full body with soft carbonation, a creamy feel and a smooth finish. Nice!

Copper Kettle Tahitian Vanilla Bean Mexican Chocolate Stout
Apparently re-brewed, and bottled, around 2016 GABF. Black pour under a thin tan cap. The nose nearly smells of pumpernickel bread, but has a vanilla and cinnamon tone to it and a whisper of spicy cocoa. Bready aroma overall. Big flavor thatís complexly sweet but also earthy and peppery. Nice vanilla and chocolate flavor with gentle cinnamony pepperiness. Very plainly like the original with a kiss of vanilla. But I still love the original, sooo...

Copper Kettle Ginger Bread ESB
Murky deep copper with no lasting head. Winter-y nose of gingerbread...little else. Smooth flavor that?s medium-full with fresh baked gingerbread cake and a mild ginger-y sharpness near the end...just kinda cake-like and cinnamon-ish with lots of gingersnap/gingerbread.
