Bourbon County Koval Cuvée
Black draft pour at Goose Island Fulton taproom. Thought I had tried or heard of all the variants, random surprise finding this hear. Tastes much like regular BCS with maybe a sweeter and more oak and whiskey kick. Delicious as expected.

Goose Island Hombre Secreto Tropico
Tap. Poured clear light copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate complex citrus, yeast, musty wood aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate complex sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

Pours a typical golden yellow color with a malt corn aroma. Taste is light, crisp, with a very minimal malt backbone. A crisp, easy drinking beer, true to the style. Nice low ABV that lends to a nice smooth drinking pilsener.

Bottle courtesy of hackobock. Black pour with a thin mocha head. Balanced roast and bourbon barrel presence. White chocolate, vanilla and charred wood. Sweet & tiny bitter taste. Velvety round mouth. Huge barrel presence but since the stout is so balanced and in no way cloying it never gets vulgar.

Bottle of 35,5 cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. Woaw. Really nice and refreshing IPA. The aroma and colours are classics IPA ones, with great hopppy notes, married with a beautiful orange colour (and a white fuzzy head). The taste is more like litchies and citrus, with fruity aftertaste. Yeah, go try it.

From bottle. Medium head which quickly disappears, golden colour, clear, fair lacing. Aroma of hops: grapefruit peel, lemon, grass, bit of berries. Lightly sour taste with strong bitter aftertaste. Light body, long finish, average carbonation. Really nice aroma, proper bitter taste, refreshing, however a bit of tarty finish.

Goose Island Hombre Secreto Mango
On tap at Warren’s Ale House in Wheaton, IL. as a full, 5 oz. serving, showing a clear & bright, golden hue, a frothy layer of soft white head foam that gradually reduced to a ring & film, with spots & ribbons of lacing. The nose was lightly perfumed, tropical scent as mango, some agave-like sweetness, light cider scent, invaded by some odd hints as celery & dill pickle juice. No, I don’t think that such a small glass was previously used for a Bloody Mary! Light bodied, with soft effervescence, the taste added low bitterness, a touch of lemony tartness, and some dryness to the finish. Not sure where the tequila barrel or the abv came in. Maybe that’s the secret. Somewhat drinkable, but a strange brew!

Goose Island The $10000 Man
Draft pour on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Darker copper hue is nearly transparent, very fall focused. Frothy creamy off white head is a nice layer, solid lacing. Aromas are fruity and hop driven. Melon, tropical flourishes, decent florals and a mellow grainy malts backing. Initial is a lighter bodied with a touch of girth, firmer bitterness, florals, rind and mellow bubblegum and tropical flourishes. A decent soapy and tangerine shot, more tropical trailout. A firmer bitterness kicks into the finish and backend. A faint toastiness is fleeting. Fresh punchy nose, pretty pour, solid flavors and flow.

Goose Island Farmers Market Series Peach Weisse Weisse Baby
Draft pour on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub (Chicago, IL). More hazy, murky glowing dark orange pour. Frothy slightly peach tinged head is decent, dies to a thicker ringer that laces ok. Aromas are lactic and punchy, peachy nectar softens the blow, a touch sweet and fuzzy. Mellow grainy malts, yogurt. initial provides a bit of balance from the base, a touch flabby while the peach addition gives it a soul, softens the blow of the lactic acidity. Some yogurty life, lemon, and peach press on..Cleaner, sour backend leaves a bit of prickly acidity, tart fruit, white grape, peach. An improvement on the base. Pleasant nose, more murky pour, good flavors and solid flow.

Goose Island (Brewpubs) Weisse Weisse Baby
Draft pour on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Decent hazed golden slightly dulled hue, frothy off white head remains a mellow layer, subtle mellow lacing as a broken film. Aromas are a bit lactic, grainy, some straw and more yogurty and lemony life. Decent strength, subtle sulfur kick. Initial is punchy, a bit acidic with some lemon, a bit overdone with mellow straw, bready malts covered up by a more punchy lactic tang. Tart, a bit heavier in body fir the style with a more lactic acidic backend and finish. Lemon, subtle white grape, yogurt trail out. A bit heavier, more unfocused and without a flavor profile to latch on to. Ok.

Goose Island OMG
Draft pour on tap at the Clybourn Brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a decent golden hue, a decent haziness, frothy whitish head atop. Punchy dry hopping nose is green, touch of bubblegum and woody essence, citrus and pune, a bit of Galaxy. Initial cleaner, bitter, a gentle malt presence and bubblegum pop. Tropical punch, kiwi, guava, pleasant front end with touches of starfruit. A mellow sweeter backend tapers with more earthy hops. Still, an impressive front.
