Darker gold. Last reviewer had it right....fruity herbal pine. Light bitterness. Not terribly flavorful or aromatic, but what is there is nice enough.

Tap It Full Blown Stout
Black in color with a creamy head of tan to light brown foam. Semi sweet cocoa on the aroma with a subtle layer of caramel. Some smoke malt contributes in the dry roast finish. A bit thin but all around a solid stout.

Tap It IPA

Very dark. Mocha head. Big boozie nose and flavor. Chocolate and roast and coffee underneath a huge barrel character. Old Forester is not subtle as a bourbon and the barewling isnít subtle here. Good stil. Great mix of flavors.

Tap It TropiCali Dank IPA
On tap @ Beer Baron Livermore. Golden beer with some white foam. Smells like a dang fruit salad. Peach, mandarin orange, and a bit of pineapple juice to top it off. Get a hint of pine and resin in the background. Flavor is sweet up front with some bready malts and all those fruity hops. Moderate bitterness on the back end is surprisingly potent.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma is bourbon heat, but the rye is definitely in place. Full bodied or even better. Flavor is bourbon, chocolate, heat, and Iím thinking a fair amount of rye spice. This is really rich and flavorful. The heat does burn a bit, but to be fair it just doesnít matter with the great flavor of this ale. Finishing not dry, and somewhat bitter. Excellent.

Bottled, 355ml dumpy from BeerMerchants of Kent. Pale yellow gold with fizzed white head. This proved to be a really thin, tinny beer, there is a forced carbonation mustiness to this and a taste of artificial lemon. Some light biscuit. Really disappointing.

Tap It Father Time Old Ale
Type: 22-oz. bottle Glass: AleSmith Barrel-Aged Reserve snifter glass From: Bottle Show in Montecito, Calif. Price: $10.99 Purchased: May 29, 2016 Consumed: Jan. 1, 2017 Reviewed as: Old Ale Misc.: 2015 release; Best enjoyed after 2016 Only picked this up because there was a minimum $10 charge for no fee at Bottle Shopís ATM. Not the smartest move since I only wanted a soda, but pulled the trigger anyway. I had read the bottle earlier when I was checking out the place and it sounded interesting. Wasnít thrilled about the ďbest enjoyed after 2016Ē phrase. I mean, why not just put it out when itís ready? Iím also talking to you Deschutes Abyss. Poured a red-brown amber semi-clear color with off-white head. Very light bubbles making their way up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25) Smelled a mix of dark fruits at first, getting plum, cherry wood, toasty malts, raisin, dates, toasted brown sugar, dark caramel, purple grape wine aromas and slightly boozy earthy leather. (Smell - 4.00) Taste followed the nose for the most part, getting damp, dark basement, plum, cherry wood, raisins, purple grape, brown sugar, dates, toast, wood and earthy leather. (Taste - 4.00) Medium body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25) This was a really good Old Ale. Glad I got the chance to try it. (Overall - 4.25) 4.09 91 A-

On tap at Beer Baron in Livermore. It pours a clear pale gold color with a white head. The aroma is awesome with sweet honey-like peaches and orange. Very potent, sweet fruit hops. The flavor has lightly toasted malt with some graham cracker, a little orange and dank bitterness. A bit more malty in the flavor than expected without the hop punch that it delivered in the aroma.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Not so sure about dank (maybe), but the aroma is quite fruity in a tropical way. Med body at least. Flavor is towards pine dank, bitter and very fruity. Could be a touch of kiwi, maybe pineapple, pretty sure thereís melon. Starting to think of grapefruit rind. Definitely bitter. Itís very tasty and nice to drink.

Hoppy punch and a marbley-malty sweet note. Delicious.
