Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Hazy orange pour with a quickly dissipating white head. Tropical fruit, orange marmalade, tangerine, apricot, peach aroma. Flavours of pineapple, mango, tangerine, black pepper, apricot, bitter herb. Unsurprising heavy, boozy action on the palate. Long alcohol burn in the finish.

Skunky and bitter with citrus floating by in the background. Nicely carbonated and "well rounded" for an IPA, whatever that means to you. Solid new release from a great brewery.

330 ml can from St Albans Beer Shop, St Albans, UK. Colour is hazy deep orange with a nice white head. Aroma is strong fruity, tropical at most, mango, banana, peach, orange too. Taste is fruity and medium sweet. Bitterness is decent despite the very fruity taste. Body is medium. Carbonation is average. Finish is fruity but with a decent bitterness. Overall very good!

Magic Rock High Wire Grapefruit
If there’s one way to improve an APA (of the overated APAs), that would be to mix it with grapefruit. Now, the experience with the sculpin was very disappointing. But this is perfection. Never mind the overly sweet nose of overripe grapefruit. The colour is perfect APA+grapefruit, the flavour is superb bitter, more bitter than and APA, more bitter than a grapefruit, somehow nicking so well in this hybrid. Nice only, resinous palate, this is utterly enjoyable.

Boom! Had this in a can, poured very well. The aroma is bursting with pine needles and citrus fruits, with a slight almond/nutty note. On tasting, the initial juicy flavours are swallowed up by a meaty bitterness, quite sticky and resinous. Best beer Ive ever had.

Incredible smell of fruit salad, some sweetness. Hazy orange body, no head. Taste is fruity salad opening sweetness followed by some bitterness and ending up with a back taste of sweetness making your lips sticky and then another slight layer of bitterness then come a light alcohol warming but for the % it is dangerously well hidden. The mouthfeel is medium with a medium carbonation and very creamy. Was a bit skeptical but hats off to magic rock, they did it. Even after sometime warming up the aroma is still there...

Sötétbarna szín, kevés, de tartós bézs hab. Illata hozza a legtöbb stout csokoládés, aszalt gyümölcsös illatát. Közepesen keserű íz pörkölt malátával, csokoládéval. Mindenkinek ajánlom.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, barna szín, szűretlen. Komlós, zöldfűszeres illat. Zöldfűszeres, komlós, citrusos ízek, kissé száraz, icipici karamellel. Inkább ipás mint amber ales. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. A súlypont túlságosan a komlós-kesernyés vonal felé tolódik, nincs ami ellensúlyozza.

On tap at Beer Gonzo. Hazy orange, with an initial head of big bubbles but nothing after a minute or so. Body is fairly full and nicely carbonated. Hoppy aroma, not as big as i expected. Flavour is great though. Citrus and tropical fruit, solid malts, and an astonishing bitter finish, which keeps the alcohol at bay.

500ml can. Cloudy orange colour with a small off-white head, dissipating quickly. Aroma: juicy citrus and tropical fruit, pine. Taste: tropical, citrus, pine, grass, malt, spicy, some alcohol warmth. Medium body and carbonation, very bitter. This improves upon Human Cannonball with even juicier tasting hops, a DIPA to rival Cloudwater I think. Great stuff.

500ml can. Hazy orange colour with a one finger off-white head. Aroma: lots of pine backed up with grapefruit, orange, mango. Taste: same as the aroma, really intense flavours of pine and tropical fruits, orange, mango, grapefruit, hint of bready malts, really bitter. Medium body and carbonation, a bit sticky on the lips, some warming from the alcohol. Really intense DIPA coming dangerously close to Cloudwater DIPA territory. Love it.

Keg at the Cambridge Blue with Alex W. Mid-gold with a touch of amber. Heavy visible carbonation. Banana, loquat, floral notes, bit of plastic in the nose. Alex gets coffee and, holding it from a certain angle I can’t disagree. Sweet taste, creamy, slight vegetal note. Bitter finish, heavy carbonation. I like it but if truth be told I expected more considering the brewery, the ABV and (I know we’re not supposed to mention it but...) the price. Verdict: good but not the best that this amazing brewery have to offer.
