Magic Rock / Cloudwater Big Dipper
Can share at One Canada Square as ’Magic Rock / Cloudwater Big Dipper’. Amber orange, translucent, foamy off-white head. Aroma is quite vibrant sugary and tropical fruit, candied orange, marmalade, grapefruit. Body is light, tingly carbonation, frothy. Taste has more candied orange and marmalade, spicy, sugary, grapefruit. Quite sugary for me, but nice fruits.

Magic Rock Salty Kiss
Salty Kiss 4% A cloudy honey gold with a thick eggshell white head of foam and a huge fruity aroma. I find it reminiscent of guava but it is probably the gooseberries. Soft mouthfeel and medium to full bodied making for a satisfying tipple. The taste is tartly acidic berries, lactic yoghurt sourness and a lemony sour finish. A good fruit gose worth keeping in the fridge for sunny days. I had this with a Swiss Selection Salted Caramel (from Seiyu) chocolate and it was awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - amber with a hint of autumnal red. Nice head. Nose - resin, earthy spice and pungent fruit. Parsnip? Taste - definitely spicy parsnip. Burnt oranges. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good beer even if some of the expected fruity high points of the style were not one show.

Cask Third of a Pint at Kings Arms, Bethnal Green, London in Dec 2016 - Black in colour. Tan head. Very Malty; roasty malts, dark chocolate, coffee, some smoke. Spicy; peppers (chipotle). Fruity; dark fruits. Hoppy; balancing hop bitterness. Sweet malty spicy fruity. Dry in the finish. Peppers dominate but in a good way. Liked this. Because of the peppers this is a good last beer of the session. Nice Chocolate Chipotle Porter! (2016-12-08)

Magic Rock Grand Marnier Bearded Lady
33 cl can.
Pours black color with a small beige head. Strong honey-coated alcohol fumes up front on the nose, some orange notes follow, very vinous too, chocolaty sweet with caramel notes, toasted malty, hints of licorice on the background. The orange is quite strong on the flavor, bitter malts dominate the palate, subtle coffee and cocoa notes, some creamy chocolate, wooden tingling dry notes on the finish. The alcohol presence is evident, bordering boozy, but somehow fits the thick creamy body and sweetness. The orange and vinous notes are slightly too overwhelming though. Tasty and complex still.

330ml can at home in Richmond as ’Magic Rock High Wire Grapefruit’, 5.5%, BB Oct 2017. Amber orange, brilliant, lightly sparkling, big foamy white head dies down quite quickly and leaves scummy lacing. Aroma is grapefruit juice, orange, some white grape. Body is quite light, tingly to spritzy carbonation, quite smooth. Taste has more grapefruit orange, light papery vibes, dusty n musty hops, a flinty background with fruit juice, some lemon shortbread later on. A bit like punch. It’s alright. Not really my bag but I liked it more over time.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is grassy and hoppy and very "bright". There’s a light cheese note in here as well that makes me wonder a bit? Taste is pale malty with light pine, grapefruits and a very "lemony" character. In the aftertaste, besides the bitterness, you get an almost herbal kinda flavor that is a bit out of character. I wouldn’t say that it’s odd, but it’s very different from other Pale Ales that has passed my throat lately. Crisp, lemony and very "up there" in brightness.

Magic Rock High Wire Grapefruit
High Wire Grapefruit 5% A honey gold with a thick white fluffy head and a hugely fruity curry hop bouquet but it kind of reminds me of citrus scented dish soap as well so I am wondering is it made with grapefruit zest or extract? Medium bodied and smooth. The label says it is made with real grapefruit which I believe, it has a sour citrus grapefruit aftertaste. The initial flavor is sweet soapy bubblegum, rough maltiness and grapefruit. Alright to me but if I didn't dislike grapefruit I'd definitely enjoy it more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
