Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 13B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 12/2017) AROMA: medium malt aroma with a slight sweet background and notes of dark toffee and faint dried plums. APPEARANCE: brown color and clear. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium malt flavor with a medium-low sweet character. notes of toffee and toasty. slight nutty notes. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry and slightly roasted finish. faint yeast flavor. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an average brown ale.

Bottle brought by A from Valencia. Lote / best before 25/11/2018. Amber coloured with a large off white head. Nose is caramel, nutty, bready, slightly alcoholic. Flavour is caramel, sweet candy, zoethout, fairly sweet, licorice. Very high carbonation. Slightly spicy. Fairly sweet finish. Basically a Belgian Strong Ale, but not very well done.

Flaske fra Habemus Birra Alicante, på terassen hos BP, delt med Harald: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Fin aroma og smak med jordaktige toner (engelske humler?), urter, karamell, litt furunål og noe vegetalt. Fint avstemt bitterhet, typeriktig og lett å drikke. Myk munnfølelse og god avslutning med jordtoner og urter.

AROMA: predominant medium chamomile aroma with faint orange notes. low malt background with a slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: straw color and slightly hazy. medium-low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with chamomile notes overpowering the rest. faint orange with a faint malt honey-like background. low bitterness with a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low to low carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a witbier with overpowering chamomile notes, resulting in an unbalanced witbier.

[email protected] Beer Session (thanks to my mom & dad for this beer!). Goldeny amber colour, huge fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is nectar, tropical fruits, mild sweet malts and some spiciness. Flavour is fruity, nectary, some slight sweet wood as well as some mild toffee to it. Mellow bitterness.

Color miel, algo turbia; espuma blanca y jabonosa muy abundante. cerveza Spigha Na Valora Spigha Na Valora Su aroma no es demasiado intenso, pero se aprecia claramente cereal y frutas dulces como puede ser el melocotón. A mí no me ha parecido para nada suave de gas. De hecho, me pareció tan carbonatada que en el primer ataque me vino a la mente una Lager. Es fresca y muy rica. Combina los dulces malteados con una importante carga de lúpulo. Potente y muy agradable, como agradable ha sido la sorpresa que me he llevado al degustarla.

330ml bottle bought at Habemus Birra in Alicante last summer, shared with Finn and djoeye back home. Has got a rosewood coloured body with a ruby shade, misty. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head. Clingy lacing. Spiced dark fruity aromas. Caramel and dark fruity taste joined by Christmas spices. Hints of yeast. Drying, mid-sweet endnotes. Fine bodied. Fits the season. Decent (Tromsø 06.11.2016).

Crazy active brown head with dark deep brown body. Smells like a chocolate liquor. Medium body beer ferries a dark coffee inside of it. Some fruity notes pulling out of the coffee. Very interesting beer sort of a coffee with a big beer head.

Cold coffee grounds up front to the flavour profile backed by dark chocolate. Roasted bitter malty ending. Feels a bit thin on the swallow. Pleasant porter (hotel room, Alicante 11.06.2016).

Color miel, escasa espuma. Aroma no muy marcado, poco definido. En boca tiene un carácter propio, diferente. Muy seca y amarga en general, perdurando. Con un amargor punzante, ligeramente frutal. La base es dulce y ligeramente frutal. Pero el predominio es totalmente lupulado. Desconozco que matices proporciona el níspero añadido en la mezla, pero ciertamente es una cerveza distinta. Y no mala. No. Merece ser probada.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks troubles. Cloudy dark amber-brown with a frothy beige head. Weird spicy and fruity aroma, very yeasty, with acetaldehyde. Sweetish flavor, yeasty, fruity and spicy, with some acetaldehyde. Way over-carbonated.
