Double Trouble Pecan Pie Porter
Pours a clouded light defying black with a tan 2 finger creamy cap. Aromas of vanilla coffee, hazelnut and some yeasty earthiness. Flavor is mush like a vanilla-hazelnut flavored coffee. Not everyone's drink but it does a decent job of pairing with rich creamy deserts

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA
Really bright grapefruit aroma. Has a juicy scented nose along with a bit of sweetness. There's a touch of light fruit and a bit of maltiness. Decent but a bit harsh on the bitterness.

Pours pure black with creamy tan head that leaves bit of lacing behind. You can taste hints of pecan in there, gives it bit of bitterness. Vanilla gives it sweetness. It has medium body with slightly syrupy texture.

Can, left as a joke in my Xmas stocking - pours a lightly hazed pale straw color with a creamy white 2 finger head that lasts well and laces. Aroma is typical pale lager; grainy, light dextrin notes, grassy hopping, sulphur compounds from lager yeast. Flavor is sharp and bright with bready malts in front, just enough hops to balance, goes to a fast clean sharp edged finish - well carbonated. A decent premium lager, far better than I was expecting - if they drink this at the Trailer park, I'd stop by for a pint occasionally

Pours a hazy light-golden colour with a frothy white cap, good retention and very thick foamy-creamy lacing. Big cereal grain aromas at first, with some hops that I am not sure work for this style (as in not Saaz). The taste has the grain and the wheat flakes, but not sure this works as well. Almost nutty. At least the finish is decent. Not one I would have again.

Double Trouble Pecan Pie Porter
This porter poured a deep black colour with a big, creamy brown head. Medium lacing. Scents include cocoa, cocoa and more cocoa. Maybe a little nuts and caramel too. First swig was strong flavoured with tastes of cocoa, dark toast and a little smoke. Finish is quite burnt and not as sweet as expected. Almost stout lingerings.

Why ohh good lord why would you name your beer that. Now you could come up with anything like good hop bad hop... robohop ( I think that's a beer already) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Double Trouble Pecan Pie Porter
437ml can. Pours like oil with a finger of mocha head. Aroma has big, sweet roasted notes, caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, hints of butterscotch, and hints of nuts. Taste is balanced with notes of roasted malts, milk and dark chocolate, caramel, and a bitter, almost espresso ending that lingers. Medium-full body with a low-medium carbonation. A bit syrupy in the mouth but not cloying with a bone dry finish.

Double Trouble Pecan Pie Porter
Pours a real dark brown, almost black, as hard to see any highlights. Creamy mocha head, decent lasting with a little lace. Very nutty nose with vanilla notes and chocolate malts. The taste starts off with roasted malts, smooth and a light sweetness comes in the finish. Roast coffee, kind of lingers with slight touch of hop greens. Easy to drink, not sweet in flavours to be hard on stomach. A nice nutty stouty roasted malt beer. Glad I got more of this.

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA
Can: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of grapefruit with some citrusy hops is quite enticing. Taste is a mix of grapefruit juice with some citrusy notes and some residual sugar notes cutting through the bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Quite enjoy the mix of grapefruit and hops.

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA
Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a big frothy yellow-beige head, long lasting with some nice lace. Red grapefruit aromas over light caramel malts. The taste starts off malty with some caramel notes. Then, the bitterness arrives and the hops finish this on a dry side. The grapefruit juice is milder here, blended with some nice cereal grains. Light haziness at last pour. Very drinkable. I quite like this.

can. Bought this beer souly for the gimmick factor. Poured clear gold with a bleach white head. Sweet aroma of corn malt. Light body, high carbonation, crisp pricky mouthfeel. Flavour is grainy and bland, easy drinking generic brew. Nothing special which is what they're going for I guess.

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA
Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a fairly large frothy bubbly off-white head and has a golden light amber appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas of floral and resin hops, grassy and wheaty as well. Flavours are citrusy, mostly the grapefruit but it seems to be a bit too acidic, sort of the diacetyl like aftertaste going for it. A little bit of zest as well. Bitterness on the palate. ok.

Can from the lcbo. Pours a Cloudy, hazy golden with a huge off white head. Aroma is very grassy with loads of cereals. Smells like unfermented wort. Nice mouth feel, carb is a tad over the top. Finish is low in the bitterness category, very grassy with some minerals and more solid cereals. This impressed me.

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Unfiltered Pils
Mrs Tiki brought this home from the LCBO. Surprisingly good pils in the province of not so good pils. What makes it stand out: thick hop profile; spicy grain bill; prickly mouthfeel. The unfiltered pays off heavily. I’d wish for a finish that was a bit snappier but its good enough. Will buy again.

Pours a huge frothy off white head and has a hazy coppery/brown appearance. Aromas of rye and barley malts, some hints of caramel and toffee as well as earthy/floral hops. Flavours of roasted and caramel malts. Nice crisp hoppiness to balance things out. Rye and barley malts mainly in the finish. Creamy and slick mouthfeel, well balanced. Really good, not too bitter and easy to drink.
