Double Trouble Grow A Pear
Pours a very light golden-yellow colour, clear with not much head, lacing. Fruity pear nose with hints of apples. Fruity sweetness in the mouth with the mix of apples and pears. Some sourness in the finish. Light dryness and no alcohol in sight. A pretty decent pear cider that is easy to drink.

Where Purchased: 473ml can from the LCBO Consumed: from a pilsner glass Aroma: Smells malty, and a bit soapy. Appearance : pale medium gold with lots of head at the beggining that doesn’t last to the last drop. Nesxt to no lacing. Taste: malty and sweet. Good lager taste. Palate : light body. Bittersweet aftertaste. Great carbonation. Overall: Good flavour. Easy drinking. Decent! Its a good quality brew that won’t win any awards, but who cares. I was glad to try but will probably buy again. MB. The Beer "Bear"on.

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a huge foamy bubbly white head that stays for a little while before dissipating to a small head, coating the top. Lots of thick sticky and dirty lacing. Has a yellow pale golden appearance. Aromas of grainy and sweet malts. Some grass and wheats as well. Flavours are practically the same as aromas, not really much else to add. Seems to be a brew readily available for mass consumption on any kinda day which fits the idea it is coming from. Probably better than Coors Light and such, but won’t really be revisiting any time soon.

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA
Can from the lcbo. Pours a clear orange with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty much all grapefruit, and not much else. Its a nice softly sweet grapefruit and not too pithy or strong. Good carb, good moith feel. Low to medium bitterness, with a semi sweet grapefruity finish. Im not sure i enjoy these grapefruit flavoured ipas. Its tough to not make them taste fake i find. This isnt awful, but i dont see myself revisiting it. Wouldnt you prefer having a heavily hopped ipa that has grapefruit aromas and flavours naturally from the hops?

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Grapefruit IPA
Can. Cloudy apricot pour with a small off-white head. Aroma is huge grapefruit, very fruity, sweet and slightly tart. Taste is also mostly grapefruit, a little sweetness but also a pronounced tartness like eating an actual grapefruit, some slight maltiness, finish is a little odd - sweet, tart, bitter, a little watery, doesn’t all come together. Not bad, definitely the most natural grapefruit aroma and flavour I’ve had in a "grapefruit IPA" - but not perfect.

16oz can at the DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small fizzy head. Aroma was corn, straw. Sweet malts and corn finish off the flavor of this one. Relatively inoffensive, not much metallic notes.

Not a big cider guy but do love a Perry here and there. This is really quite good, not sweet and sugary. Nice tart and clean. Typical high carbonation makes it less palatable to me, Very nice really

Double Trouble Hops & Robbers Unfiltered Pils
Can from LCBO got to start not a Pils fan but friends coming over do not all appreciate my eclectic taste in beer. And we do not do that macro stuff in my house. Ace Vienna was a surprise , this was a total surprise. Unfiltered as it should be hopped up a tad check. Nothing special but great tasty beer. Try it

16-ounce can pours slightly hazy light brown-amber with creamy light tan head and lacing. Aroma: not much, but some faint caramelized brown sugar. Flavor: brown sugar, black and white pepper, rye bread, finishing bitterness from hops. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied. Tasty; nice balance.

Double Trouble Prison Break Breakout Pilsner
Pours a thick frothy off white head that later gives it thick dirty lacing. Has a slightly cloudy golden appearance. Light citrus aromas but mainly grains and wheaty scents. Flavours are also light citrus hops and grainy toasty malts. Some hints of apple and breads in the finish. Slight watery mouthfeel with a chalky sensation. Goes down fairly easy. Better than many macro type pilsners, but just a tad too regular.

Double Trouble French Press Vanilla Stout
Opaque dark brown color, almost black. Light creamy brown 1 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with poor legs and lace. Flavors of coffee, cocoa, dark grains, soft molasses, caramel, vanilla, walnuts, light raisins and plums, herbal spices. Mostly sugary and malty, moderately bitter. Creamy full body with a sharp crisp. Medium to strong strength finish, deep roasted malts, light esters, almost woody, with leafy hops and a mocha feel. Very nice coffee smell. Well intensified and accessible with a pleasant body and chalk feel. Good taste but not much flavorful. Gets flat quickly, still decently fresh. Overall good quality craft.

Pours a golden, pretty clean colour with a frothy white cap, good retention and some foamy lace. Grainy cereal malt nose with some spicy hops that come out a little later. The taste transfers this spiciness from the hops. The hops seems like some hops used in cheaper beer, with hints of plastic notes. Still, not as bad as it sounds and decent for a regular lager. Mild apple notes lingers, helping.

This beer’s got that classic grainy, corny smell of pale lagers. But there’s also a strong maltiness to the aroma. Pours with a nice, foamy head that leaves some lacing. Taste is a bit doughy for me, but there’s some nice spiciness there. Palate is fairly clean, leaving a bit of a malty aftertaste. Poured from a can into a stein ’cause I’m a pleb with no pilsner glasses.

473 ml can. Noisy pour with moderate carbonation and a musty corn aroma. The beer has a golden hue, white head, and thin lace. The start is smooth (glucose?) and carries on into the middle. Only a modest length to the finish with some balancing hop notes present. Not much really!

Golden pour, medium, rocky white head. Actually has some decent cereals in the nose with a touch of dried grass. Mouth feel is nice, carb is a touch soft. Finish is a little sweet, cereals lean towards a not very pleasant t apple flavour, and the hops all but disappear. Not great, but I’d take this over a macro lager any day.

Pours clear gold with a big white head. Jesus Murphy that’s a lot of head. Aroma is lightly malky. Do you mean Malty? Yeah that’s what I said. Taste is slightly sour with a bit of malt sweetness. There are hints of malt and grassy hops. It’s all very inoffensive. The beer lies somewhere between helles and pilsener. I’d rather have a rum and coke but if I have to have a light lager it’s not bad I guess.
