750mL bottle pours a bubbly pale yellow. Musky earthy cellar Apple aroma, light oak spirited Barrels. Refreshing tart Apple flavors meet woody earthy barrels, spirits of rum and bourbon evident with sweeter Bordeaux and brandy notes playing on the edges of the palate lightly and not overpowering the Apple flavors. Very easy drinking with all the barrels making their presence known with out becoming near overbearing. Well crafted!

Golden. Medium thin body. Lightly sweet and tart apple with loads of spice and cinnamon. The spice lingers. The 10.5% is really well hidden. Not something Iíd want too much but it is interesting.

650ml bottle @ Mattís. Pours a cloudy pale straw colour. Nose is sweet pear with a tropical infliuence. Flavour is sweet rhubarb through and through even with a slight acidic tart finish. Wow, Iím impressed they captured that character here.

Bottle - Sweet pear, lychee and tropical white fruits. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Tart and light acidic fruity notes. Rhubarb is a bit odd, it comes out much sweeter than expected and lots of pear.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is extremely juicy, with shitloads of oranges, rhubarbs and light citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with an extremely juicy citrusy, orangey, rhubarb content. Very juicy, medium sweet, but doesnít really strike me as a cider. Fun stuff though and for what it is, itís very drinkable.

Cloudy and very pale. No head. Has rhubarb on the nose, with apple skins, and an almost pear-character. Has a nice juicy character, nice apple sweetness, and I like that rhubarb tartness in the finish. Very drinkable, this is a refreshing, balanced cider. Quality.

Light pour, no carbonation. Looks like white wine. Aroma also vinous, bit chalky, really, feels like white wine for me. Dry and a bit sweetish. But more about dry.

Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours sort of translucent perry color with minimal white bubbles. Aroma is very much prunus fruits, but thereís also some apple. Med minus body. Flavor is very apricot. The impact is so strong it affected me like a sour. Which it really isnít. Dry and astringent, yes. Really quite nice.

Pours a clear gold from the bottle with little to no head or lace. Aroma and taste of light pear and apple cider, a mild hint of earth. A cider trying to call itself something else and it fails. Meh.

Nice clear, somewhat beige in colour. Aroma has fresh apple juice and a little crispy pepper. Taste is smooth, nice and refreshing cider, apples are relatively strong but feels light and luckily not too sweet. Decent but not really spectacular I guess.

500 ml bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours perry color with no bubbles/head. Aroma of cider and light stone fruits. Itís a bit skin astringent, has hints of non-apple light fruits, and goes a bit earthy in the finish. Which could be skin rather than yeast result. It does leave a rather non-cider taste in the mouth. So I could believe it relates to saison. Distantly.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours murky reddish berry color with an arguably off-white head. Aroma of light sour dark berry. Med body, nearly. Flavor is very lightly lactic sour; some blackberry; not a lot of "cider". A very interesting thing - I can think lambic on this. Sort of.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is sweet, green apples with a medium light tannin note. Light red apple notes, but this is mostly green. Pours a very clear, very pale yellow color with a faint, thin, white head that immediately disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately sweet, but with a fairly dry finish. Medium light green apple notes with some light red apple and tannins. Hints of alcohol in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty bland and somewhat boring cider, but it should work fine for a pork chop brine. Flavor is fairly muted with balanced sweetness and apple notes. A bit too candy-like for my preferences.

Dark ruby color with pink head. The aroma is dusty, like peppers, light berries. Very dry mouthfeel, I can get some fruit, but itís indiscernible, the final is dry and a bit astringent.
It kind of has the currant character, that doesnít work well in the dry, in my opinion.

Hazy pour gives way to white foam and releases the aroma of a bag full of sweet apples. The haziness gives it a nice texture. Finishes with just a hint of sour. Thereís a lot of interesting flavors in this one.

750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours slightly golden perry color with some white bubbles. Aroma of smooth, dry cider. Arguably med body. Flavor is astringent, woody, old apples. Not a bad thing that. Very dry. Wood seems to flow away, but the astringency remains. Making me think of wrinkled apples. Itís beginning to seem lightly tart. Very good cider. Might be able to compete with some of the Normandy products.

On tap @ Taps Barrel House. Sort of a lighter red color with a lot of pink and short lived pink foam. Strong currant, grape, and berry aroma here. Comes off a bit soda-like. Fairly sweet and fruit forward, though there is a bit of acidity here. Oak aging seems to add a touch of tannin and dryness. Maybe just a bit of butterscotch in there as well? Fine enough.
