Aroma is citrus, pine, and crystal malts. Taste is more full-bodied maltiness with a very classic west coast sort of hopiness with a dank, earthy and bitter finish.

Ribstone Creek Old Man Winter Ale
Can. Pretty much black with a large beige head that fades until it's a fat coat. 3+ Aroma of mocha with some roast and weeds. And so it tastes but there's a little more roast than guess and then that is supported by a bit of caramel. Still quite assertive at the end. Carbonation is a bit high. Pretty good but could be more welcoming.

Ribstone Creek Lone Bison IPA
Can, 6.5%, ABV, 70 IBU. Just unclear amber with a large white head. Old fashioned orange, herbal, weedy and earthy aroma. Medium bodied, too fizzy. Bready, peachy and a bit muddled on the palate before citrus and some earthy and herbal notes come through. Bitter finish. I like that it's gutsy but could be a little cleaner.

473ml can @ Erik's. Pours a semi opaque brown colour with a small beige head. Nose is burnt rubber with a phenolic note. Flavour is on par with the nose, oh no. Light bodied, mild carbonation, and a mild sweetness. I am not sure what is going on here, but nothing good.

Dark brown, with a big head. On the nose, big phenols...yikes. I mean there is some toffee sugars and a bit of nuttiness. But that's a big dominant whack of up front phenols. On the palate, the phenosl are still getting in the way. Just not happening. Yikes. I mean, there's a beer under there, but yeah, infected.

Ribstone Creek Old Man Winter Ale
A very nice porter which is surprising for a can sold one. Dark roasty, almost burnt taste, but not in a bad way at all. Reminds me of chocolate with the nice bitterness at the end. It comes in a cool can, has a nice flavour, and reminds me very much of my own homemade Kvass. If I could recommend one thing to you, please try this porter with Irish Porter laced cheese. Best pairing I have found in my life. TL;DR it's a very well made porter at an affordable price.

Ribstone Creek Lager
A good lager locally produced in a small town. Unique character with a clean and crisp, but not watery flavour. Not yeasty either. Good colour and head too. Overall a good lager, not overly great, but good enough that I buy it to drink it, not just to shotgun it at a party, or slam one after another
