Drakes Hopocalypse DIPA (Green Label)
22. Thanks so much, G! Pours a hazy medium golden amber with a nice sudsy whitish head that sticks around. Bright tangy pine nose, lots of residual sugars poking through. Creamy body on the high side of medium. Heavy toasted caramel sweetness up front, washing over into a very sharply dry grapefruity pine finish. Nicely done, but if the design were a subtler dynamic between bitter and sweet, this would be a true world-beater.

Drakes Duck Puppy
Draft at City Beer. Dark brown in color, maybe even some purplish hues, small tannish head. Aroma would make Tomme Arthur do a double take, because itís almost a dead ringer for Angels Share brandy -bal (to the best of my memory). Lost Abbey became found Abbey with this beer, because itís right in their style. Vinous, sweet, bourbon, brandy, candi sugar, molasses. Flavor is sweet, hot, vinous, but nice. Full bodied, hot as hell but in a good way. Unlike Tomme Arthur here because thereís actually carbonation! Wow resurrecting 2008 jokes on Easter is great. Good beer doe. For real.

Drakes Electric Owl
Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Dark brown pour that has a two plus fingers of beige foam. all kinds of coffee in the aroma. It is rich and earthy but not over roasted. That translates to the flavor, too. Some light fruity bitterness pops in and is a nice offset. It is also lightly herbal. The coffee is surprisingly complex. A little toffee, a little citrus, a lot of earth. That coffee is in charge, though. Very good stuff.

Shared with Strykzone of Facebook Chat. From a bomber poured amber down with a large and long lasting off-white that left good lacing. Nose of coffee, rich roasted malts, and some fruit. Medium plus body. Flavor is rich and while coffee is dominate the fruit and chocolate mats support it. Finishes with more spiciness than bitterness Very tasty and nice

Drakes Hopocalypse DIPA (Green Label)
(On tap @ Bottlecraft Liberty Station, SD, April 1/17) Pours amber with a decent sized white head, nearly clear. Aroma of pale pit fruit, mixed citrus, pine resin, slightly floral and tropical, nice rich hops overwhelming the malt. The flavour is fairly fruit-forward - more peaches, orange, some tropical notes, a fair amount of pine and resin, pretty robust caramel malt core, somewhat sweet but kind of juicy, building up pine and floral resin notes in the finish to hit an above average level of bitterness, sticky, very slight alcohol. Medium-full body, average but fine carbonation. A little old school, malty West Coast in style but itís well done and well-hopped. Solid.

Drakes Macho Man Razzy Savage
Tap at Cap Tap. Pours rather muddy with a tan head. But put the iPhone light behind it and itís a beautiful translucent red. Aroma is raspberry. Med body or so. Flavor is rather earthy raspberry. Not sure it fits the typical Westvlettern thing, but itís flavorful. Main deal is mildly earthy/sour (very mildly) raspberry. Nice drink.

Drakes Jolly Rodger (2016 High West Barrel Aged)
I agree with the last reviewer that this is thinner than expected. The aroma is on point with mild and mellow coffee, pleasingly smooth dark cocoa, and light coffee roast. The barrel aged aspect is on the meek side with some woody flavor and aroma but has no real kick toward the finish. Being $20 a bomber this is a bit of a letdown.

Drakes Denogginizer
Hazy dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma has a really interesting hop profile with grapes and also some juicy orchard fruits with a hint of watermelon. Taste follows with the watermelon and grapes plus some orange. Medium to intense bitterness throughout. Medium body, quite smooth on the palate. I really enjoyed this one. It has a very different hop profile from other IPAs.

Drakes 1500 Pale Ale
Bottled and opened after 11 days. Aroma slight fruity, estery, bubblegum. Appearance clear and very pale orange, many dry hop floaties add minor haze. Tastes sweet light/medium, bitter medium/heavy, sour light. Very crisp, light body. Soft carbonation with pretty fluffy white head dissipating quickly, not much lacing. Creamy finish with slight astringency. Overall a pretty light bodied ale quaffable but a tad on the bitter side to be deemed sessionable.

Bottle--Thereís a space on the bottle where labeled "bottled on, drink within 90 days," but itís blank, so I have no idea how old this bottle is. Based on the existing ratings here, Iím guessing this isnít fresh even before I open it. Bummer. Pours gold with a white head. Spicy hop bitterness, some malty toffee sweetness, light toast, and light grassy notes. Tastes like a decent IPA with a bit of age on it, which is probably exactly what this is. Date your shit, Drakes. Wouldnít have bought this if I knew how old it was. Finished the stupid 22 oz bottle because Iím poor and itís really not that bad.

Drakes Jolly Rodger (2013)
10-MAR-2017, bottle @UlklÝbben meeting, @Ole. Black with a lasting, Brown head. Aroma is roast and a barrel-like note. Taste the same with quite some hops. This is served blind as an Imperial Stout but as it warms it becomes clear that there is no barrel aging - "just" huge amounts of hops. Some age on this. Hops are still very much there but I quess they must have been "brighter" as a younger drink but still this is tastefull. Very good.

Aroma:
Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, chocolate, mocha, roasted malts and coffee.

Appearance:
Opaque black beer with a slight/medium brown/dark brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, chocolate and mocha; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and coffee.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. They added an absolutely amazing coffee. Super soft, yet flavourful, and even some dark fruit like. Wonderful chocolate and mocha as well to balance it with.
