16 ounce can. Pours a light brown, copper color capped by a massive rocky beige head. Malty, baked brown bread nose. Flavor is sweet toasted malt, reminiscent of strongly brewed sweet tea. Slightly nutty with sweet cherry notes. The 8.5% ABV is hardly noticeable. Cloyingly sweet throughout.

Tallboy can from Farmingdale Liquors. Poured a sort of ugly hazed dirty bright pinkish rose with a foamy smaller super light pink head. Aroma of big time strawberries, heavy cream, sponge cake, toast. Flavor starts off with a harsh dry toast followed by cream and sweetness that blends into sgrawberry then back to harsh grains again. Body is harsh, sort of scratchy and dry all the way through, strong carbonation and an aftertaste that flashes sweetness but not enough to overcome the dry scratchy grainy feeling.

Tallboy can from Spirits Jackson, piney power did hook me up with a can but I shared that one without rating it. Poured a chill hazed orange with a fluffy off white head. Aroma of old bread, clementines and tangerines. Flavor old citrus, lemon zest on the backend, grains and breads in the middle. Meh, not my favorite from BS.

Bolero Snort Snickermoodle
Tallboy can from Spirits Jackson. Poured a medium density black body under a smaller to average sized tight foamy super light beige head. Aroma needs to warm up to come out. Cold itís just another lousy porter. With some warmth nice coffee and cinnamon notes begin to emerge with underlying dark chocolate. Unfortunately I was tired and couldnít invest more time for the flavor to develop deeper. Notes of bad chocolate muffin and lightly burnt malts dominate, hint of vanilla extract and finishes with a trio of cheap coffee, bad cinnamon, mediocre vanilla cake. Slightly fuller body with average carbonation and a lingering slightly dry and stingy finish.

Thanks dmac for the can! Nose of danky hops, some pineapple, orange, and citrus notes, a good deal of white sugar and well as leafy green dank. Hazy, like all the beers now, bright white head. Flavors of chewy dank resin, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, a good deal of white table sugar. I found this to be almost gritty or chewy. Interesting, drinkable, cool beer.

Sampled on line at Other Half release. Poured medium to slightly thicker dark black with a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma/flavor of light chocolate, milk, coffee beans and a hint of booze. The extra ingredients blend together nicely with the beer and the barrel to really give this a white Russian flavor. Medium body with only a slight trace of booze and lighter carbonation. The best of the bunch for sure.

Aroma is weirdly chemical, and this is noticeable in the taste as well. Starts out smooth and smoky, with some chocolate notes, then youíre hit by this sickly sweet chemical flavor that stays for the rest of the drink. I regret buying this one.

Aroma - green apples show up mano-y-mano with some cinnamon and spice. Appearance - the body is a clean red mahogany, with some nucleation. The head is off-white and 2+", and sticks around at tall height for some time. Profuse head build up. Full frothed laces clings at all points in the drink. Taste - has caramel malt, swerve of green apple spliced throughout this brew. The hops are floral, slightly pined, and even a little pungent. This works in a really interesting way. Almost takes on a refreshing green apple Italian ice sort of thing, but with swanky swagger. Palate - medium body, almost creamy texture, the finish average, and the finish is sort of fruity, yet instantly straightened up by reciprocating hop of matching strength.

Poured from a half filled growler. Ran out at the local store. Bit flat but still tasty. Sweet and fruity aroma with some honey, sweet malts, flowers and berries. Color is a ruddy mahagony brown. More sweet malts, sweet tarts, caramel andbuttery toffee. Little bit of floral notes (hibiscus) and smoked malts. Light alcohol presence. Finishes smooth and sift malts with a hint of tartness late. An ok brew but not really a quality scotch ale.

Medium body with tight bubbly carbonation and a slightly lingering smoky aftertaste. Pretty good.
