Bolero Snort Variabull #005
16 ounce can. Labeled as "French Style Saison with Lemon Zest + Black Peppercorns". Cloudy medium gold color is topped by a frothy white head. Faint citrus malt nose is crisp and refreshing. Flavor is tart and earthy with a crisp rustic character that adds notes of lime zest and spicy black pepper. Tangy, yeasty malt finish. Quite refreshing and clairvoyant.

Bolero Snort Lemon Bullringue
Can from a local exchange. Thanks to dmac, cheers! Slightly hazy deep gold pour with a large white head. Nose initially has some lemon meringue pie character. Accents of vanilla. As it warms, some awkward plasticy aromas surface. Fresh vinyl. Quite dry character. Mellow lemon peel with strong vanilla on the finish. More plastic, unfortunately. A bit of curdled milk, too. Dried herbal hippiness. Super dry finish. Medium body, mellow booziness. Quite strong carb. Overall, an interesting beer with some unfortunate off-flavors. Cool to try, though.

Can, thanks to Dave. Found this in the fridge and forgot I had it. Pours out brown with a medium sized off white head. Aroma is of bakerís chocolate, cinnamon and some artificial sweetener. Taste is much the same, under sweetened cocoa powder, vanilla, some cinnamon spice, odd chocolate, light Caramel notes.

Bolero Snort O.V.B. Creamsicle IPA
Can dates 4/17. Consumed on 5/10. Pours a lightly hazy yellow with thick, lingering head of tight white bubbles. Aroma is orange zest, grass, chewable aspirin, dirt. Low notes of vanilla. Flavor is orange and vanilla upfront. Pretty much spot on for what I think they are going. I get hints of a medicinal character that really makes this taste like a kidís chewable aspirin in my opinion but I can see why many enjoy this. Body is medium full. Bitterness is medium low. Sweet finish with a lingering hop astringency on the back of the tongue which really brings forward the medicinal character for me. I totally get the draw to this beer but I donít think Iíd drink more than a taster of this again

Bolero Snort Pina Bullada
Tallboy can from Spirits Jackson. Poured a dull medium density body of bright orange under a smaller fizzy white head. Aroma of coconut muffins, older pineapple chunks, coconut milk. Flavor has a dry sweetness like an old cocnut muffin with a hint of pineapple in the background. Not bad for a hot day.

Bolero Snort Kow Lime Pie
Pours an opaque murky gold with medium white head comprised of tight bubbles that mostly dissipated quickly. Leaving a ring of head around the glass. Aroma is a pithy pungent lime up front. A meringue like aroma is also present. Taste is interesting. Notes of vanilla, lime, black tea, Barbasol shaving cream, lemon. Assertively bitter. Leaves a lingering sandpaper like sensation on the tongue. Pretty astringent. Medium body. The aroma seemed promising but the flavor was not very enjoyable. Interesting beer to share at a tasting but not enjoyable in a quantity greater than a sample

Bolero Snort O.V.B. Creamsicle IPA
I poured it from the can into a pint glass. It pours a hazy orange with a white head and lacing. The aroma is orange and grassy hops. The taste is orange, earthy hop bitterness, and some vanilla. The vanilla is more pronounced as it warms. The tastes were natural and not over the top. It was nicely balanced. This was an interesting and different take on the IPA. I liked the beer and the concept.

Probably first on the list of the styles that should not be dry-hopped, thereís not much saison here esp. until it warms up.....the strawberry is rather faint as well. Yet, drinkable all the same.

Bolero Snort Raginí Bull
Bottle. Nose is sweet and somewhat malty, grainy, caramel and toast. Pour very pale orange-amber, clear with above-average carbonation and a sudsy beige head. Taste medium-sweet with toffee, caramel, lots of toasted grain; low bitterness and the sugar really adds up to a firm cloy here. Canít quite call it clean but itís not offensive. Medium body, fullish with speed, a bit homebrewy/underattenuated in feel and sweetness, but no rough alcohol. [2017.03.15: 2.8]

Tallboy can from Farmingdale Liquors. Poured a sort of ugly hazed dirty bright pinkish rose with a foamy smaller super light pink head. Aroma of big time strawberries, heavy cream, sponge cake, toast. Flavor starts off with a harsh dry toast followed by cream and sweetness that blends into sgrawberry then back to harsh grains again. Body is harsh, sort of scratchy and dry all the way through, strong carbonation and an aftertaste that flashes sweetness but not enough to overcome the dry scratchy grainy feeling.
