Nice aroma with lots of pine and citrus. Fruity flavor, starts bitter but with a little underlying malt sweetness. Fruity finish is a little on the thin side, surprising given the strength of the beer, but still really good overall.

Deep black brown. Vanilla and coffee aroma with roasted malts. Very smooth, the ABV is very well hidden. Taste is a great combo of coffee, malt, vanilla, and ends with a tiny boozy kick of oaky bourbon. Tap.

Vault Rye IPA
Amber ciolored brew with a decent head. Nose is a bit spicy and fruity, but not distinctly rye. The body is bright and juicy with hops. The rye character never really seems to emerge, but this one stands as a solid IPA.

Vault 5-Cs IPA
Large off white head with medium retention, skimpy lacing. murky ugly ass sorta copper, orange hued brew. Nose is weird with fingernail polish, hint of caramels and a bit of citrus. Body is almost medium, nearly flat carbo, fairly lifeless, gummy. Hops are stale, citrus and pine, friggin iced tea notes, lightly sweet malts. Kinda leads into a IDGAF about this beers finish which is a touch sweet with minimal bittering. Iz not good. 16oz can from Waywood Beverage. Dated 9/5/17 canning date i assume? Aint like it aint fresh! Bummer.

750 ml bottle from jtclockwork, thanks James. 2015 vintage. Deep brown color with red highlights, tons of carbonation. Aroma is dried fruits, booze, toffee, mild funk. I don't think this is suppose to be funky. Gin comes off as with a lot of warming after the sip, (straight up booze) Yeah, funk is out of place. If you have bottles of this, open right now. It is going in the other direction.

Vault Russian Imperial Stout - Bourbon
#22/270 bottled 2015, shared by Airforcehops on 7/9/17.
Deep, dark, inky ebony. Dark beige head is small and fades quickly to ring.
Bourbon-heavy nose with tons of toasted oak and vanilla. Picks up rum raisin-like notes and ends on a mix of strong vinousness and somewhat sharp, strong alcohol. Well, were this a glass of bourbon, I'd be a lot more excited. Unfortunately there's supposed to be an Imperial Stout here, I thought....
In the mouth it's not quite as overdone as the nose would imply, though there's still far more bourbon and oak here than actual beer. Strong vinousness/dark fruit character throughout and a strong, sharp alcoholic finish that finds charred roast and alcohol further cutting through an already underwhelming body. Low, loose carbonation and not nearly enough malt depth.

Tallboy can from the source. Poured a chunky opaque hazed deeper orange under a smaller foamy mostly white head. Aroma of melon, grains with the slightest hint of mint, citrus juices. Flavor is similar but more bitter. Fuller body, average carbonation and a lingering aftertaste. Just meh.

Really pungent aroma of caramel, pine, malt and hop. Nice. Cloudy orange with smooth milky white head. Earthy and rough around the edges. It almost has a minty spicy vibe to it. A ton of hop. Apparently hops were the only ingredient used but it’s done fairly well. Solid.

Vault Olde Ale - Gin Barrel
Bottle. Pours hazy hazel, very large off-white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is ginny, toffee, a bit dusty, caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Super carbonated. Medium light body. Seems to be a bit of a bottle riot happening, but no tartness detected. I think the body has thinned out, and the overcarb is offputting, but the flavors are still ok. Lots of ABV burn.
