Union Craft Old Pro Gose
Can. Super-tart grapefruit and lime. Salt gives the beer some balance. Some spice, some bread on the back of the palate. Wish this were a little gentler and emphasized the creamy palate the wheat would give it.

Skinny white head that settles quickly, minimal spotty lacing. Hazy yellow, gold color. Spicy nose, light citrus, flowery, hint of grape. Body is medium with a soft carbo, tangy on the palate. Dry pale malts, rye spiciness and nice orange flavors, more spicy hop and floral flavors as well. Crisp and clean, dry finish with a spritely bite. Thanks to guzzler67 for the 12oz can! Quaffable.

On cask at the brewery dry hopped with Sorachi Ace hops. Cloudy, orange appearance with a thick head that left nice lacing. Aroma of lemon meeting up with spicier hops. The wheat flavors contribute a nice contrast to the herbal, spicy hops. Aftertaste adds an extra dimension to the hop profile. Medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel, moderate carbonation and a lingering finish.

On tap at Churchkey, pours a very hazy yellow with some lacing, white head. Nose has floral notes, lightly musky, some lime and citrus, muddled tropical fruit. Flavor follows, lemon, lime, grass, melon without the sweetness, floral. Finishes creamy, nearly chewy, with not a ton of bitterness. Good, not great.

Union Craft Double Duckpin (Tangelo and Oak)
Cask at Churchkey. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma was pleasant with orange and tangerine citrus, caramel and oaky vanilla. The flavor did not quite match the nose, pungent orange citrus, herbal notes, wood, body is oily and thin, not much finish.

Union Craft Double Duckpin (Tangelo and Oak)
On cask at Churchkey, pours a murky, dark orange with some sudsy, off white head. Nose has nice orange and vanilla notes, the IPA base is there in the nose, caramel too, hand soap. Flavor falls apart though, oily and astringent, heavy black tea, vegetal, some new wood. Finish doesnít help either; watery and oily like a bad salad dressing.

Can. Pours a clear light gold body with a frothy one inch white head that left some sticky lacing. The nose is a great mix of floral and fruity hops over a gentle pale malt base that lets the hops shine. The flavor is quite interesting, lightly bitter with a nice tangerine like fruitiness that lingers for a really long time. The malt base is really dry and clean and light. The hop mix in this is really great. Light bodied and very crushable with soft carbonation. Hard to believe that this is 7%. Really good beer.

Can. Pours a flat black body with a one finger fizzy dark brown head that faded to a thin film. The nose is heavy roasted malt with some coffee, dark cocoa, burnt caramel, and a little oatmeal. The flavor is on the sweeter side, presumably from the oats, because itís not sweet in the usual caramel way. Heavy burnt and roasted maltiness, some slight alcohol on the finish. Some lighter coffee, some slight citrusy hops, and a touch of licorice. Medium to full bodied with a nice smooth softness to it, light fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent beer, wasnít expecting this one to be so big.

Nice looking stout. I get the "creaminess" but not sure about the "imperial". It hides the % well behind a well malted beer. Not all I need to some snow for this perfect winter beer.

12 oz can poured, with thanks to Eugene for the can. After having to call out sick from beer enjoyment the last week, this is quite the refreshing introduction back. Juicy and quite tasty. Cloudy yellow orange pour with a fading rocky foam head. Description nails it, a dash of salt, a touch of tart, as far as both flavor and aroma are concerned. Refreshing and tart. Orange and peach front, with a lingering watermelon like tart finish. Very nice gose here. I could drink this by the drum full.

Clear light amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of citrus, light malt, toffee and a bunch of earthy and English hops. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt flavours up front with a bitter hoppy bite from the grassy and more assertive earthy notes along with some sweetness near the end and a rich alcohol bite. Aftertaste shows the bitter hops all throughout with a bunch of grassy and floral hop elements near the end along with the toffee and caramel sweetness. Overall, a very nice and well-balanced Imperial IPA thatís on the verge of a ítypicalí IPA, but shows good character and has some nice flavours. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 03-September-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-January-2017.

Deep dark reddish-brown beer with a medium foamy beige head that lasts a while. Nose of Mexican chocolate, medium sweet coffee, and vanilla. Flavor is balanced between sweet and bitter with cocoa, vanilla, and mocha followed quickly by charred brown bread and smoke. The after-taste retains more of the bitterness which lasts quite some time. Solid oatmeal stout.
