Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Light and thin beer, fairly sweetish with a hint of fruitiness. There is a sweet jammy touch to this with an artificial strawberry note, bubble-gum. Lacks depth but drinkable.

Hazy golden color. I believed it to be more subtle red. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine fresh carbonation level. Mellow fine sweetness. Fruity, wheat, oranges and some yeast. Nice session able and very refreshing beer.

Little Beer Little Spirit
Bottle @Salt Horse, Edinburgh [2nd Bottle Share]. Pours brown, murky, specked, tan/dirt head. Nose is ash, cigarette ash in a can of beer ash, TCP, medicinal, horrific, i already know i wont like it from the nose. And wow it does not disappoint, the ash/smoke thing is worse than expected and the burnt rubber aftertaste i believe makes this the worst beer I've ever had.

Cask pint in a local Wetherspoons on 31st Aug 2017. Sat outside in the afternoon sun, away from the smokers. Slight haze to the golden amber pour, deep smooth white blanket of foam on top. Some farmyard esters in the aroma, the taste was fruity and bitter, the finish fairly dry. Decent.

Cask at Prince Arthur, Fleet. Floral aroma with slightly offputting sour notes. Dark amber. Blotchy off-white head. Medium bitter and like the aroma there is a certain amount of sourness. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carb. Long somewhat astringent finish. Not a winner. Is it usually this bitter or is it the cask?

Cask at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Kensington Olympia. Black, with a tan head. Has a slightly odd aroma, almost fishy, but not in a bad way. It's a little light and the flavours aren't really full enough.

Little Beer Running of the Bull
Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Yeasty aroma as expected, with an acidic citrus element. An opaque orange amber. Frothy white head soon calmed down to thin covering. As per the aroma, the taste has what I’d expect from a wheat with banana and cloves, however the blood orange then takes over. From a restrained sweet with a sour edge to all sour (although never more than medium). An odd chemical aftertaste. Medium bodied. Soft, although the carbonation has a fizz. Abrupt finish, other than the chemical citrus aftertaste. Overall pretty good. A but lightweight and let down by the previously mentioned aftertaste.

July 2017 - Cask (handpull) at The (new and improved) Willow Walk JDW, Victoria. Short review with Johnny and Teresa. As ’Little Beer Little Geyser Steam Beer’. Amber orange, totally clear and still, foamy off-white head. Aroma is airy, digestive biscuits. Body is smooth with soft to tingly carbonation. Taste is woody, wet wood, sawdust, astringent and a little floral, dried flowers. Simplistic. (5-4-4-4-13=3.0)

Little Beer Little Vienna
Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Vague caramel aroma. In a dark but it didn’t appear to be particularly amber, more a light brown. Sparse froth of a head. Light bitter. This grows in strength but not to more than less light. Light bodied. Thin. Flat. Long finish. Drinkable but a bore draw. Had been on for a few days I think and may have suffered for that.

Little Beer Little Wild
Bought at Surrey Wine Cellar, Chobham. New label design, bottle style and ABV at 5.9%. Underpowered aroma - a touch of grass and spruce. Bright amber, a tad opaque. Extremely lively carbonation, resulting in a massive off-white head. Bitter - with a harsh edge to it. Underlying juiciness. Grapefruit, quinine, tangerine, herbs. Medium bodied and slick. Somewhat astringent finish. Unbalanced - the harsh bitterness overpowers everything else and leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Little Beer Little Rosy
Bottle from Secrett’ s Farm Shop. Currently retired. Back at 5.5%, from previous 5.0%.Strong raspberry aroma, with an almost boozy edge. An opaque orange-amber. Thick bubbly white head. Short-last lived sweetness. Then a sour tinged bitterness kicks in. The raspberry’ s there alongside citrus and a saltiness. However it’s never more than medium and somewhat one note. Relatively light bodied. An oilyness to it. Most impact comes from the carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Was hoping for a summer refresher but a bit boring and too dry.

Little Beer Friary Meux Audit Ale
Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Malty caramel and hay. Herbs and a veg edge then come through. An opaque medium brown. Creamy off-white head. Surprisingly light - some sweetness followed by maltyness that builds in strength. Light bitter finish. I guess there’s also a house hint of alcohol in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Muted finish. Hmm, not sure what to make of it. A very polite English Strong Ale, but then it is from Guildford! Drinkable. Enjoyable. Low impact.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest, 13/04/17. Sweet malty aroma. Bright amber. Thin white head. Light sweet. Caramel. A touch of malts/umami. Light bodied. Slick mouthfeel. Restrained carbonation and a relatively abrupt finish. Refreshing enough but as a whole it insubstantial. Forgotten as soon as the glass has been drained.
