blackmurder	2.6 Steelhead Bombay Bomber IPA Decent beer. Golden amber color, moderate head. Peppery, floral nose with a malty backbone. Kinda reminded me of sierra nevada pale ale in a way. A highly drinkable, decent beer. Monday, September 26, 2022
stevoj	3.3 Steelhead Hopasaurus Rex 19.2oz can from Beer Emporium Corvallis. Light cloudy golden pour with a thin foamy head. No hazy here, a classic NW DIPA all the way. Aroma is light sweet malts and piney hops. Taste brings caramel flavors before a thick layer of piney hops covers the palate. Bitter finish. Tuesday, August 2, 2022
BuckeyeBoy	3.7 McKenzie Tree Licking Maple Porter 12oz can thanks for the new brewery tick Santa. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is rich roast malts some sweetness and little ash. Taste is more of the nice roast malts some ash pine hops and a sweetness. Thursday, December 9, 2021

Reid	3.8 McKenzie Tree Licking Maple Porter 12 oz. can , part of a 6 pack from Grocery Outlet in Salem OR. $8.99. Liked their stout now back to try this. Pours a darker coca-cola brown body, with a small tan head.. Aroma of brown maple sugar, coffee and semi sweet chocolate. Nice. Taste is very nice all of the above add some caramel and some really bitter dark fruit. Well balanced. The maple is there but does not overwhelm. Roasty after taste..which i like in a porter. Mouth feel was good and on style not thick but easy to drink. Well carbonated. A very nice porter. really tasty Friday, January 29, 2021
Reid	3.7 Steelhead Bulldog Premium Stout 12 oz. can. Part of a 6-pack from Grocery Outlet in Salem OR $8.99 Nice black body with large thick and creamy tan head. Good looking beer. Aromas of toasted barley , semi-sweet chocolate and sundried figs. Taste is strangely salty. Like sea salt chocolate. Don't get me wrong! Its great . Creamy and with a bit of toasted brown bread. Nice thick, smooth mouth feel. A nice and slightly unusual stout. Definitely a sweet stout Saturday, January 23, 2021
Chadhami	4 Steelhead Twisted Meniscus IPA A really interesting and different ipa. Some notes of malt and chocolate on the first sip. Brought down to Cali from my sister in Eugene. jbruner	3 Steelhead Raging Rhino Red On tap as McKenzie Raging Rhino. Pours a clear amber red with light khaki head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild caramel malt and sweet nuttiness with a touch of earthy hop undertones. Taste follows, a light metallic finish and moderate bitterness, but a clean malt balance to back it up. Beese	3.8 Steelhead Bulldog Pale Ale Keg at The Oregon Brewers Festival, Portland, OR on 25/07/2008. I had a number of their beers at the brewpub, but this might have been my favourite of there’s. Just a really well made pale, with lovely floral and citrus hop nose and zippy flavour, with good depth. Friday, April 3, 2020

Zymurgeist2	2.9 Steelhead Punkin Ale Draught in Burlingame. Clear copper with moderate-low white head that lingers. Taste is malt, with the pumpkin spice in the back. This style can go overboard on the spice, and they avoided that here. There is a carbonic bite in the back of the palate that is not pleasant and spiky. Sunday, December 31, 2017

nickd717	3.7 Steelhead Hopasaurus Rex Bomber, labeled McKenzie Hopasaurus Rex. Nice brilliant copper pour with a large, lasting white head. Aroma is pretty interesting with candy earthy hop notes. Flavor is also quite good, some sweet sugar/syrup/caramel malt, resinous, earthy, citrus hops. Medium-plus bodied, sticky. Actually really nice! The only beer I had at Steelhead that wasn't gahbage. Meaningless to the consumer date code was not looked at by the friend who was nice enough to pick this up for me. mckenzie brewing 345 G 1302 2014 I assume that’s the year at the end, as this smells and tastes way past it’s prime, smelling like a Barleywine and tasting like bitter ass. Wish I knew the store, cause the cascadian dark ale also has 2014 at the end. Yay! Drainpour. I wouldn’t hold it against them (maybe the retailer and distributor) if they just dated their stuff so the average consumer could decipher it, but they didn’t. Monday, December 5, 2016

Malt forward amber ale here..although there is a wee bit of the floral hop going on in the end. Mouth feel was pretty nice..smooth drinker. A good malty amber for drinking not thinking.
