phaleslu	2.6 Old St. Louis Water Tower Wheat 12 oz. bottle via in-person STL trade. Pours a totally clear, bright golden color with an inch-thick fizzy white head that fizzes out instantly, settling into a tiny ring and some rising carbonation bubbles. Aroma of banana, lemon, sweet malts, florals, and some lighter phenols. Flavor of lemon, banana, sweet malts, minerals, and a bit of a metallic note. More lemon than expected. Light-bodied, with an almost tart, apple juice-like mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Kind of a whiff for the style. Wednesday, October 30, 2013
bytemesis	2.7 Old St. Louis Streetcar IPA Bottle. Pours hazy butterscotch with a huge beige head, fizzy and yet slow to dissipate (there is so much of it after all), with good lacing eventually making an appearance. Aroma is pine, caramel, and buttered popcorn. Flavor is the same, rye spiciness, candy flavors, medium sweet, light bitter. Weird. Medium body. Monday, October 21, 2013
Finhead	2.9 Old St. Louis Court House Lager A hazy, yellow pour with a minimal, white head. The aroma is faint with some light corn. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is sweet with a quick, easy finish. Monday, October 14, 2013
Finhead	3.4 Old St. Louis Gaslight Square Ale Hazy copper-brown pour with an off-white head. The aroma is a little fruity with some light caramel and herbs. Strykzone	3.3 Old St. Louis Gaslight Square Ale 12 ounce bottle from a variety pack bought at Randalls in North County. This is coppery and clear. A nice beige head. A malt first aroma that also has herbal notes. Some toastiness. First sip brings out fairly big malts and alcoholic flavor. I taste some sourness that was also tasted in the other two beers of this series. A little fruit pops up mid glass. This tries to be good with the malt attempting to take the beer and run but that sourness keeps popping up and detracting. It didn’t measure up. Wednesday, April 24, 2013
Strykzone	3.3 Old St. Louis Streetcar IPA 12 ounce bottle from a variety pack at Randalls in North County. This is very clear and light golden. A big fluffy white head. Carbonation floating up is moderate. Lots of fluffy lacing. The nose is citrus and tangerine. Not big. Some sourness from the first sip. Along with that is some grapefruit tartness and bitterness. Malts are secondary but are noted. A little spice is tasted at the end. This stayed sour and that detracted for me. It actually became fairly realistic grapefruit. Wednesday, April 24, 2013
Strykzone	2.3 Old St. Louis Court House Lager 12 ounce bottle in a variety pack from Randalls in North County. This is clear honey gold and has very active carbonation. A white head. Pale malts, grain, and light honey in the aroma. A bit of odd earth is smelled. The flavor is grassy. Somehow it makes my lower jaw lock up on the right side. Never had that happen. But the feel is creamier than expected. Hops are very light and so is the bitterness. Those hops have a hint of Noble to them. Jason was right in that this almost became a pils but did not get there. jandd1983	3.5 Old St. Louis Streetcar IPA It poured a hazy brownish amber color with a creamy off-white head. The aroma was of sweet citrus peel with a light caramel malt character. The taste was a good balance of caramel malt, grapefruit some lime zest and a touch of toffee. It finished with a mild bitter aftertaste then a dry caramel flavor. Very good. Thursday, April 4, 2013
jandd1983	3 Old St. Louis Gaslight Square Ale It poured a somewhat hazy, burnt orange color with a cream colored head. The aroma was somewhat resiny, grapefruity with toasted maltiness. The taste was caramel maltiness, somewhat citrusy and a lightly spicy flavor. Thursday, April 4, 2013

Pours a semi-cloudy amber with a finger of off-white head that settles into a film and leaves small spots of lace. Aroma of sweet, toasted, and caramel malts, leaves, dust, earth, and figs. Flavor of toffee, brown sugar toasted nuts, dates, leaves, and peanut brittle. Medium-bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Long, lingering sweet malts on the finish. Eventually dries up the palate. Sloppy beer. Not sure what it’s trying to be. Saturday, March 23, 2013
phaleslu	2 Old St. Louis Court House Lager 12 oz. bottle from jandd1983- thanks again, Doran! Pours a pale, clear light golden color with rising carbonation and a finger of white head that lasts as a film on the beer. The aroma has sweet malts, straw, sugar, corn flakes, and stale bread. The flavor is basically an improvement on the same notes. But there’s something off-putting in the nose; sweet and a little stinky. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a thin, malty mouthfeel. As good as the IPA was, this one is a barely-average pale lager. Saturday, March 23, 2013

Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a massive, frothy, rocky head that is just barely off-white in color and leaves heavy lace in the glass. Aroma of clean, fresh, subtle grassy hops, lemon, tangerine, straw, pear, and dry malts. Flavor of pale and dry malts, lemon, floral notes, mellow spice, and orange peel. Light-bodied, with fairly high carbonation and a clean, crisp, dry, bitter mouthfeel. I’m shocked at how good this is. Saturday, March 23, 2013
musinj6	3.3 Old St. Louis Streetcar IPA Pours a clear honey golden with 4 finger head that lingers and leaves heavy lacing. Toasted malt with very heavy grapefruit hops. Moderate to heavy bitter. Chewy with sticky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.Long bitter finish with a little sourness that seems a touch off. Thursday, March 21, 2013
musinj6	2.9 Old St. Louis Gaslight Square Ale Pours a clear amber brown with one finger head that very quickly dissipates leaving light to moderate lacing. Heavy caramel aroma with hint of metallic German and herbal hop flavor. Moderately sweet with a touch of bitterness at the end. Medium body with brisk effervescent carbonation. Not bad. Finish is sweet and syurpy. I don’t know what style the brewer was going for here. Kinda strong ale but kinda esb. It’s ok and the best out of the mix pack from this new brewer. thegreenrooster	2.8 Old St. Louis Streetcar IPA Pour is a blonde with a huge white head. Aroma is slighly hoppy. Flavor is some bitterness no real hop presence and some dry dusty malts. I know this said English style IPA but this is still pretty weak in the hops dept and kinda bitter and harsh. Saturday, March 2, 2013
