Can, ABV 8.6%, BB 14.07.2017 (from SIP). Pours amber with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is intense citrus, grapefruit, malt, some berries, sour notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, grapefruit, sugar, caramel. Alcohol is very well covered. Finish is sugary, dry and some alcohol burn. Overall: very good, would like less sugar tho.

The Sour Note Peach Gose
The active sparkling head shoots the sharp tartness of the pungent peaches in to your nose. A slightly cloudy pale yellow appears from the fizz as the head fades to a ring. A peach nectar body quilts the tongue, as a salty dry floral flavor emerges.

This draft brew from a restaurant was served at room temperature and poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind no visible carbonation opaque black brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium mild roasted malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt and brown malt. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

355ml can (thanks FatPhil). Clear dark amber color. Huge size, firm white head, stays. Sweet, malty, fruity, citrus, caramel in aroma. Caramel, sweet, citrus in taste. Sweet and some alcohol in aftertaste. Hmm is this just sweet and boozy drink? Kind of boring. Not bad, but just boring.

Orange, large tight persistent head. Sweet caramelly aroma, some fruity hops. Sweet caramelly taste, a bit bland, dulled by all the caramel. Some pleasant fruity hops too. Gentle zesty bitterness. Smothers the alcohol with all the sugars. Pleasant bitterness in the finish, a bit resiny, builds with every sip, and you can tell it’s proper hops, not just spiky extracts. Very solid brew. Nice last beer of the evening.

On tap at Ellyn’s Tap & Grill in Glen Ellyn, IL., and dispensed to a tulip displaying a hazed, orangey gold, almost amber color, with a decent layer of soft white froth that gradually diminished to a persistent ring & film, and web-like cling to the lacing. The nose presented good expression to the perfumey citrus as grapefruit & orange, & tropical fruit, with slight resin, and candy sweetness. Medium bodied, with lively, seltzer-like carbonation, and a subtle creaminess to the mouthfeel, the taste was similar notes, adding a fairly pronounced, citrus & rind bitterness that lingered to finish. Rather bold for a 5.5% session IPA. Maybe the spicy nachos assisted the intensity, but no complaints here.

Can@: pours amber golden slightly haze with foamy white head with good lacing. Aroma: toffe, almost caramely malt notes, with typical amarillo nose with apricot, citrusy, melon like notes. Flavor is very, very similar: intense hop profile, pretty well balanced with malt backbone, with notes mentioned above. Finish is slightly bitter. Body is medium, texture is soft, carbonation is moderate.

Tasted from a 12oz. can. It poured a cloudy copper hue with a frothy off white to light orange head. Peachy citrus hop nose with a delicious taste to match. Nice malt backbone to support all of that juicy dank hopness. This double IPA continues my enjoyment of 18th Street’s hoppy brews.

This bottled brew from a restaurant was served at a cool temperature and poured a very small sized head of frothy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated body transparent and a fair lacing. The aroma was hoppy and musty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong deep hoppy aftertaste. The tangy flavor contained notes of hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Rated on 12-09-2016 at Ted’s Wine Bar, Fort Wayne, IN. This canned beer’s appearance is a small beige head that mostly diminished, golden body, very little fast rising carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, tropical fruit, grassy, and earthy. The flavor presents heavy bitterness, citrus hops, tropical fruit, grassy, earthy, and finishes dry. The mouthfeel is heavy carbonation and this beer is medium-full bodied. A very drinkable APA with a good taste to it. It is not too hoppy or bitter tasting and it is a beer that I would drink again.

12oz can from La Primera, with a funny story. No can date, but the guy behind the counter said they had just dropped it off to preview, prior to bringing 6s in a day or two later. A solid $2/single can on-the-spot negotiation. Orangey tan pour with an off-white head leaving some spotty lacing. Lotta tangy tropical fruit. Peaches. A solid caramel malt base. Fairly dry. Quite tasty. There may be some chocolate. Solid and tasty, if a touch more malty than expected. Finishes well blended between bitter and sweet. 14.3

Note: rather pricey (+- €4.5), but decided to pick it up anyway, man, I do not regret! What a beer!
Rather cloudy orange beer, big irregular creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, lychee, citrus, lemony, lovely smell, bit dank, resinous. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, bit sourish, very very fruity, what a lovely beer! Aftertaste: some grapefruit, little cheesy, very dank, resinous, tangerines, lychee, some caramel malts. Really nice one!

A bit dissapointment- after Toppling Goliath Golden Nugget IPA it was like session IPA not IIPA. Medium bodied, overall sweet taste, medium to dark light malts flavor with a bit toasty flavor, not much hops kick at all - rather like diluted IPA. Although aroma was pleasant, not intense.
