Highway 1 Knuckle Down Brown
There was greater depth to this brown than I expected. Browns tend to be just a step up from amber, but this had a really marked flavor profile, with chocolate notes and a clearly present hop profile (we are on the west coast, of course). (on tap at brewpub)

Highway 1 French Mexican War
On tap at the brewpub. Description on the menu is a Frenchfamhouse Yeast battling the flavors and aromas of fresh jalapenos. They are right on, as I can still feel it a couple of hours later. Poured cloudy light golden with a medium white head, the nose was spicy, like sliced jalapenos, with the fruit taking a back seat. Nice aftertaste, if you can stand the heat. I liked it, good with food.
