Trailhead Spiced Pumpkin Ale
On draught at the brewery as part of a sampler. The best of the 6 beers. Maybe by the end I was so desperate for something to pleasantly surprise me....but this kind of delivered. Like a pumplkin creme brulee and pie crust aspects. This was the only one of the bunch that didnít fall apart with a weak mouthfeel. All of these beers looked great - just no mouthfeel at all.

Trailhead Old Courthouse Stout
On draught at the brewery as part of a sampler. Deep brown with minimal brown head. Wow - this is very thin and then hits you with a harsh roast. This is not really stout like at all (except the spike of roast). No creaminess and no noticeable hops or bittness. Rough.

Trailhead Missouri Brown Dark Ale
On draught at the brewery as part of a sampler. Deep copper with a tan head that lingers. A lot of the beers in the sampler have a great appearance and head retention/patterning. This beer was rich and roasty and the highlight of the staples from this brewery.

Trailhead Red Amber Ale
On draught at the brewery as part of a sampler. Slightly hazy copper. Lots of smoked chestnut on this one. Not real to style, and maybe not intended based on the description, but not altogether bad. Had a harsh bite at the end.

Trailhead Hazelnut Brown
Rated on 02-17-2013 at Trailhead Brewing Company. This draft beer presents a small tan head with a lengthy retention, opaque dark brown body and one ring of lacing. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee, hazelnut and sweet. The flavor is hazelnut coffee, malt and sweet. This beer also has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth with a rather flat feeling. This beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable, but I find the hazelnut to be a bit over-the-top for my liking.

Trailhead Spiced Pumpkin Ale
Sampled at Augusta. Hazy but still clearer than most. This is all about the spices. A little pumpkin but a lotbof fall spices. It is tasty enough but is certainly not traditional. Rich malts and spices. Hops are minimal but migjt add dome bitterness.

Trailhead Missouri Brown Dark Ale
Watery, better than their stout at least. Poured at the brewpub in a pint glass. Dark reddish brown with moderate tan head. Abrupt bitter finish. Bartender said this was his favorite Trailhead offering, and it is ok when paired with food. Not a beer I would seek out otherwise.

Trailhead Old Courthouse Stout
Named a stout, dubiously. Dark opaque brown with a tan head, poured at brewpub. Watery, not creamy as I would look for. Bitter but mercifully brief finish. Donít order a stout at this place and expect it to taste familiar.

Trailhead American IPA
Sampled at Microfest. Very hazy. A big hed is beige and lasts. Gentler west coast hop aroma isvery clean. Citrus in tje hop flavor with very moderate bitterness. A soft malt profile. Just not a lot of flaver per ABV ratio. Maybe some triopical fruit and definite grapefruit. A little disappointing in that I wanted a bigger hop flavor.

Trailhead Hazelnut Brown
This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of foamy extremely dark tan colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark brown colored body and a poor lacing. The weak aroma was brown malt roasted malt and coffee. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow coffee aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hazelnut, roasted malt burnt malt coffee and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
