Mumbles India Pale Ale
Cask ale, half pint, shared with Finn at Commercial Rooms (JDW). Bright amber body, naked at the surface, lacing rings down the glass. Restrained smell of caramel malts. Taste of caramel mingled with dried fruits. On the sweet side of bittersweet ending. Smooth in the mouth and quite nice (Bristol 30.04.2017).

Great stout in cask at the GWBCF14. Pours black with light tan head. Aroma is roast and coffee. Great silky mouthfeel to it, feels heavier than what the abv gives away. Flavours have the woody sharpness of roast barley mixed with a tinge of floral hops, then light chocolate, coffee. Finishes clean and dry with no astringency but some of the refreshing sharpness of the roast barley. Best session strength stout in the festival.
