Logboat Mr. Moot
It pours brown with a dense reddish tan head. The aroma has toffee, molasses, dates, nuts, toasty malt, bread and a pleasing richness. It has a full rich body with soft carbonation. The taste is really big, not a big alcohol burn, but big dark toffee, earthy English yeast, caramel, molasses and some astringency on the finish. Very different that the regular Mamoot, but has a few similar qualities. Think I dig everything Mamoot from Logboat.

Logboat Coffee Mamoot
It pours reddish brown with a tan head. The aroma has powdered cocoa, rich coffee, bread and an obvious English slant. It has a medium body with soft carbonation. The taste has the aroma notes with the rich mild ale character in front of the coffee, but the coffee offers nice compliment. Both mellow and flavorful. Logboat does a great mild, nice to see this variant.

Logboat Mamoot Mild
Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2016. Pours a near clear amber with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some sweet grains with notes of light roasted malts, bread and biscuit supporting. Flavor has lots of bread and grain with some straw and light roast coming through.

Logboat Drinkerís Peace Wheat
On tap at Shamrocks. Pours a golden color with a decent head. Aroma of citrus, malt sweetness and bit of grass. Taste of citrus, malt sweetness and trace of grain. Mild bitterness and fairly clean finish. Fairly light body, slightly tangy but nicely balanced. Nice beer.

Logboat Haller-Tang Pale Ale
Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a decent hop but I get more of a bready maris otter type of malt. Flavor is herbal and spicy with some melon rind and a bready, dry malt. There has to be more than just pilsner malt here. This is decent and different with the use of German hops and more of a English style malt bill.

Logboat Dark Matter Wheat Porter
Pour is a dark cola brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a decent char malt but not much beyond that. Flavor is a more intense roasted char malt with some chalky bitterness. The mouthfeel of this beer is a lot thicker than it looks. An above par porter with lots of roasted malt flavor.

Logboat Lookout American Pale Ale
12 oz. can from Craft Beer Cellar - Clayton. Pours a cloudy orange gold with a finger of rocky, frothy off-white head that laces the glass while settling into a thick ring and patchy film. Malt-forward, with pale, toasted, cereal, and caramel malts, tea, muddled fruit, straw, grass, and dusty grains. Almost some nuttiness. Light-medium bodied, with medium-plus carbonation and a malty, mildly bitter mouthfeel that has a subtle bite at the end. All right.

Logboat Snapper IPA
Both on tap at Glennís Cafe in Columbia and then out of the can as a six pack. Dank resins control the aroma, with tropical fruit in moderate low amounts adding backing. Clear orange with a smallish collar that fades quickly to a ring of white. Taste is moderate high resins and pine, with a moderate amount of sappy sugar left in here. Would really enjoy this more if it fermented a little more of the sugars out, but not bad.

Can. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of pine hops, florals, citrus and caramel malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more malts, caramel, pine hops, citrus (notably grapefruit) and some spices. It was a little bitter and the alcohol was decent. Good stuff.

Sent to me by Strykzone. Thanks Dave. From the 22 oz bottle this poured a hazy straw yellow with a moderate white. Nut much lacing. The body is light to medium. Flavor is a fruity and perfume, with obvious Belgian yeast notes. The is a bit of funk here, but just a little Finished with some sweetness in spite of the funk. OK.

12 oz can at Cooperís Landing on the Missouri River outside of Columbia, Missouri. The pour is clear copper golden with a small white head. The aroma is pine, floral, citrus hop, along with caramel malt. The taste starts with sweet caramel malt, moves quick to the pine and floral hop and finishes with a bit of mineral. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft natural carbonation and a dry finish. Solid, easy drinking Pale Ale.

The beer pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma has rich smooth toasty porter malt, chocolate and some richness from the wheat. It has a medium smooth body with gentle carbonation. The taste is richer than expected, the chocolate is there but muted a bit. The sweetness is more than most and has assertive rich malt. Good.

From a can after Thomasí wedding. This was nicely balanced with ginger and wit notes. The ginger was pleasant if a bit sweet. There was also some nice lemon and coriander. Not a great beer but an enjoyable one.

Not a big IPA fan but enjoyed this. Slightly dank aroma(might have been sitting around for a while). Smooth and a little syrupy for an IPA. Citrus and pine notes very pleasant. Enjoyable summer IPA out of the can.

Bomber. Smells like a saison with the malts and fruit. A bit of funk, too. First sip brings no funk. Kind of like Juicy Fruit chewing gum. Some Belgian yeast notes and a little clove. This drinks like a somewhat wimpy saison.

Logboat Fly Bye Farmhouse Ale
Bomber from Wine and Cheese Place. I rolled it to loose sediment and the result was a hazy green tea effect. A fluffy white head is 4 fingers. The flavor is not really distinctive. Some herbal notes with bread and musty notes. Lemon. This is gentle but pleasant stuff. A little cereal, hay, and grass but just a little. This seems more like a saison to me but that might be splitting hairs. It is tasty and enjoyable.

Logboat Snapper IPA
Can. Pours a clear light gold with a fizzy head and aromas that at first seem very lemony... as it warms the lemon fades a bit and they become more honey-dominated. Flavor is OK, but pretty boring for an IPA. Nice bitterness (but lacking a clear direction - I canít say itís really "citrusy" or "resinous" or anything of the sort... Maybe a bit "spicy" but thatís about it.) Nice balance. Kind of plain.

Logboat Fly Bye Farmhouse Ale
Pour is a crystal clean golden with a huge white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is moderate spice, earthy apple and citrus. Flavor is light citrus, pale malts, a hint of peppery spice. Not much of farmhouse yeast presence and I did get some alcohol as it warmed up. This was ok at best. Everything is a bit to thin from the look to the flavor. Probably could have used a bit more hops and a different yeast strain.

Can pour. Appearance is hazy dark brown/mahogany with 1/2 finger-width off-white fizzy head, no lacing, no sparkle. Aroma is caramel/toffee and vanilla with notes of chocolate, dark fruits. Taste is strong toffee/caramel with berry/fruit and hint of chocolate and vanilla. Palate is medium bodied with average texture and toffee, sweet fruity finish with English hops-like dryness. Overall, a decent amount of complexity/flavor for such a low ABV.

Good citrusy aroma. Golden macrobrew color and head. Subdued citrus rind hops very drinkable and light for the style. Good palate with more carbonation than I like but it works here. I have never had logboat before but this is an impressive offering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
