Brewer’s Art Penguin Pils
.5L mug on draft at a German-style beer hall. Clear pale. White bread syrup. Low hops mild bitter. Not crackery or sharp. Too syrupy for style. And I don’t taste any penguin ;)

Brewer’s Art Green Peppercorn Tripel
Rich hazy golden and orange coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light yeast, coriander seed, breatd, hay, grass and a noticeable amount of pepper and other light spices. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong yeastie and hay/dry flavour of malt and some subdued bready and bitterness flavours. Aftertaste shows some of the peppercorn spice, a touch of the grain shows through, a little sweetness from honey and finishing with a mellow complexity and dose of body. Overall, a nice rich beer that shows a lot of flavours and richness along with an easy-to-drink feel, not typical for the style. I sampled this fourteen ounce pour on draught at Farmers, Fishers, Bakers in Washington, DC on 05-February-2017 for US$10,00.

Brewer’s Art Resurrection
Pours more like a red than a brown but the foam and lacing are top notch. Btw, best by May 5th 2017 clearly stamped on the bottom of the can. Kudos to that. Belgian yeast, candi sugar, some caramel and nuttiness in the smell. Belgian yeast, bits of roasted malt, some bittersweet notes, a wee bit of butterscotch to my palate. This is really tasty. Silky smooth mouthfeel. Another very nice beer from this brewery; I reckon they have fun brewing Belgian style ales. Keep it up!

Brewer’s Art Beazly
Best by May 8th 2017. It pours a pale gold with an inch and receding head of foam. Smells of kind of spicy hops, sweet and grainy malt. The taste is nice. Grain with an ample off setting spicy hop character and some sweet notes. A very tasty Golden Ale that’s very easy to drink and doesn’t suffer from a thin body.

Brewer’s Art Birdhouse Ale
Best by May 5th. The colour is gold. An inch of foam that seems to be long lasting. I get some spice and yeast and a candi sugar like sweetness in the smell. Maybe some grassy hops. Quite sweet from the candi sugar/caramel malt that the yeast is bringing. Spicy with some cloves hints of banana. Hops are way dialed down. Again, perhaps some grass. Mouthfeel is fine. No indication on the can that this was a Belgian Pale. For what it is, it’s very good.

Brewer’s Art St. Festivus
12oz bottle, no date. Dark brown pour, too dark to see through. Agaonst the light looks a bit ruby brown and some more clarity. Aroma is relatively mild with a light spice coming off, light ginger cook is what I mostly get. A light pluminess after that with a cookie dough lightness to surround all of it. Flavor is smiliarly mild with present but light spices and a mild Belgian dark backbone. Not sweet, dry, more of a S/H/V than a Belgian really. The orange peel doesn’t really stand out for me.

appearance: clear deep gold, big foamy white head. aroma: subtle honey sweetness, grainy cereal notes; light yeasty clove and bubblegum. taste: as the aroma indicates. finish: slick palate, typical Brewer?s Art house yeast coming on in the finish nicely. notes: Solid saison. Drinks fuller than the abv would indicate. Draft at Owen?s Ordinary.
