BridgePort Sirenís Sound
22 oz bomber purchased from Rothís Sunnyside Market in S.Salem OR $5.99 Pours a pitch black colour with a perfect looking dense, creamy inch high tan head. Aromas of cream, iced coffee and nicer milk chocolate, some treacle and ash. Taste similar to the aromas but with a nice touch of licorice , Mouth feel quite thin, but OK, for style and the alcohol is well hidden but lends to a dry end which in turn helps with drinking. I actually think this is a very nice entry level Imperial Stout,

BridgePort Kingpin Double Red Ale
Iíve been drinking beers and ales for over 48 years and I love my reds. This is worst red ale Iíve ever tasted. After one taste, I poured a 6 pack down the drain. I tried another Bridgeport product too and I will say I will never buy another, very disappointed.

A very nice example of a barleywine. Pours a beautiful dark ruby red with a tan head. Smells of barley and orange. Taste is very orange, with caramel and vanilla, and some warming booziness in the finish. Had on tap at the brewery.

Bottle from Brewers Haven Nothing out of the ordinary here. Inky black pour, small ring of beige head. Roadt grsin aroma, minor hints of chocolate, kind of sweet. Taste follows with he toady grains forward, but not adding to much to the overall. Light for a RIS.

Brown/black, with a caramel colored head. Aroma has notes of chocolate, mole-asses and ethanol and spruce on exhalation. Taste is more forward on those latter notes with hops up front that blend into roast after. $5/22 oz

BridgePort Kingpin Double Red Ale
Loads of biscuit, breadcrumbs, caramel and alcohol, plus a little apricot and grapefruit aroma. The taste is quite hoppy, with more biscuit and caramel. The alcohol makes it positively warm the throat, but the finish is marred by a metallic astringency. A shame, because itís otherwise a lot of fun.

111216. Bottle from Beer Cartel. This was a good beer that ticked all of the boxes for me. Sweet orange peel aroma with that sweetness coming through into the flavour. The sweetness didnít dominate the malt or hops but complimented them. Refreshing with a sweet finish.

Pours murky orange with plenty of floaties which I love. Decent white head seems to last. Only light aroma get more grain than citrus. Flavor has that sinature bridgeport taste light on the hops. A nice juiciness not overwhelming. Would like some bitterness to compliment but drinkable. Not bad.

BridgePort Cream Ale
271116. This is my first Bridgeport Brewing beer in quite a while as I havenít seen their beers around this part of the world for a while. You donít really see too many Australian breweries brewing cream ales. This is a very good beer, clean and refreshing. Orange in colour with not much head to speak of. In the mouth the beer is full bodied and smooth with crisp clean finish. As the label says this beer is easy rolliní and sippiní. Finishes slightly sweet rather than bitter and the combination of malt and hops makes for a wll balanced beer.

Highly carbonated, caramel foam head. Caramel malt nose accompanied by an airy hop leafyness and a bitter soapy note. C, andi apple body, and not nearly as hoppy as I expected from a "hop harvest" monikered beer. Some spiced gum drop notes throughout. Grainy bitterness. Nice flavor, but on the sweet side.

BridgePort Long Ball Ale
Bottle:   Hazy straw, orange hued, fine sediment, thin to moderate foamy white head, spotty lacing.   Slightly sweet start, a bit fruity, low hop, fairly crisp.   Better than I imagined.   Falls off somewhat quickly leaving a little powdery sugar finish, a bit fruity too.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Clean finish, with very faint fruitiness and hops.   This is an easy one to drink, and I can only imagine at a baseball game one could drink many of these.   Perhaps not as crisp as others but fruitier and sweeter.   Enjoyable.

BridgePort Trilogy 2 Aussie Salute IPA
Bottle:   Bright straw, some orange, hazy, nice foamy white head, sticky lacing.   Moderate orange and pithy like bitterness.   Mildly sweet.   A bit more orange peel on the finish.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little tangy on the finish, light dryness, clean.   An overall soft citrus peel like IPA.   A bit more sweet than most, with less pith.   Decent.

BridgePort Hop Czar - Topaz Copper IPA
Bottle:   Soft pith and earth, with a slight flair of cat urine in this one.   Has a grainy astringent background.   Maltier than perhaps it should be, without a balance of bright hoppiness.   Moderate body and mouthfeel otherwise.   Finishes just as it starts... not a big fan of this one.   Topaz hops... guessing I am not a fan.

BridgePort Stumptown Tart Cherry Saison
This was poured into a nonic and treated as a fruit beer. The appearance was a glossy to burnt golden/semi-bronzed orange to amber color with a fair dissipation to a soft white head. No lacing. The aroma started off with a soft tart to sweet authentic cherry flavor over top of some light sweet freshly cut grass. The flavor was basically the same with the low riding sweet grassiness coming in for a nice balance. Lingering sweet to tart cherry flavor rolling into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nice and light with a crisp refreshing feel about it. Overall, it works as a fruit beer, though I see Bridgetown is saying saison, sorry, guys, I donít see the other qualities, but good for what it is. Me, I could have it again for me, could make a nice dessert beer.

1/2" white head.. only a little lacing.. atop a slightly hazy orange copper colored brew. English hops dominate the nose with an above average yeasty fruitiness. Toasted pale and caramel malts are also very evident. Flavor is assertive... low carbonation with good mouthfeel... good bitter backbone and spicy/earthy hop flavors with fruit yeast notes and a touch of diacetyl.. Very balanced.

Nice long lasting head that drops leaving sheets of lacing... color is a clear polished chesnut. Smells "English". Light brown and caramel malts with a touch of diacetyl ... fruity esters are present and fairly out front. Flavor is pretty much all toasted malts.. fairly heavy on the toasted malts.. the ale fruitiness is ever present... lighter than expected caramel.. earthy hop flavor.

Draft pour on nitro. Normally the beers Iíve tried on nitro are better than their non-nitro versions, but not this time. It was incredibly smooth to drink, but it was to the point that it barely had any carbonation, so it tasted flat. Also in this particular version, while the malts showed through, you could barely taste any hops.

Almost no head on top of pretty dark brown brew. No lacing to speak of. Smell is like most run of the mill PNW winter ales (I think I need to change things up). Caramel, roasted and toasted malts with enough hops (citrusy) to balance while still making it feel "warm". Taste is again pretty standard ... still pretty good though. raisins and rum cake... nice and warming ... definately makes me think of Christmas.
