Canoe Blueberry Ale
2019-08-21. Purple body, headless. Aroma is mild, lightly fruity, blueberry but I might not be that specific without knowing. Flavour is mildly fruity, blueberry, light bitterness, there’s a dry quality to the finish that I can’t quite describe. Mineral / chalky is not the right word. 6+ Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Needs more fruit really. Okay. 6/4/6/3/13-14 On tap at Canoe, Victoria, BC.

Canoe West Coast Ale
On tap at Canoe, pours a hazy bright amber with a small beige head. Aroma hints at a slight diacetyl issue, with lots of caramel and nary a trace of hops. Flavour confirms this, with considerable butter... lots of caramel and subdued hops. This needs fixing. Can’t drink this as is.
