Keg at the Water Street Location. Last beer in the flight and I fear this. Hazy orange, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit and pale malt. Taste matches. Thin. Actually doesn't suck. Surprising. Old school.

Water Street Irish Stout
Keg at the water Street location. Ok, this is the 7th beer in the flight. If they fucked up this forgiving style it's hopeless. Near black, thin tan head, poor retention. Aroma of nothing for about three seconds and then some faint roast. Taste is chocolate, faint roast. Thin. Fuck. At least this one is creamy.

Sampler at brewery. This was the one I liked best out of the bunch and the only one I fully drank. Still slightly on the malty side for my preference, but not bad overall.

Water Street Maple Octoberfest
Very sweet and sugary. May be brewed in the October style but not the taste you would look for. Not a maple taste, just sugars and sweet. Not sap, no molasses, just sugar. tap at brewery.

Water Street Black Lager
Un-Muzzling Olde Muzzlehatch Ratings, #84. 20 ounce draught at the brewpub, August 2008. Not quite opaque jet with little head, mostly diminishing...nose grainy and light, with just a bit of dark roasted malts in evidence...unfortunately the body feels adjuncty, vegetal and is more reminiscent of a pale lager than anything else, though there is a bit of roasty bitterness at the finish that keeps it from total failure...also a bit thin. Not impressed. Also not sure why I only had the one beer on this my only visit to this brewpub, unless it was that it was smoky (ah, I remember the pre-smoking ban days...). That was likely it - that and, driving by myself, I wanted to save most of my drinking stamina for Delafield’s other, better brewpub.

Water Street Punch You In The Eye PA
On tap @ WSB, Oak Creek. This is on par with what an American brewed IPA should be: hoppy on the nose, palate, and finish. Nice burnt orange color. Alcohol content not detected. Served in a dimpled mug. Nice!

Water Street Raspberry Weiss
On tap @ WSB, Oak Creek. Pinkish purple pour. No head whatsoever. Nose of raspberry Kool Aid. Weak, sickly sweet, and lacking in any natural fruit flavor. Tasted more like a flat generic soda than any kind of beer. This is really sub-par for this genre.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy amber color with a lumpy tan head. The beer smells of citrus, orange, grapefruit and toasted malt. The taste is as it smells with substantial sweetness from the malt. Light + body and nicely carbonated.

Smells sweet citrus but wouldn’t call it raspberry. Pink color. The wheat flavor is lost to the sugars. The touch of fruit is a little like fruit stripe gum before it goes to pot. Tap

Water Street Pumpkin Ale
Draft at milwaukee brewery. Definitively not a pumpkin-pie-in-a-glass version, aroma and taste of some spices, mostly cinnamon, though not sweet. The malt and pumpkin are well balanced with the wheat base coming through at the end with a banana finish. Worth trying!

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2015. Pours a clear pink gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is peach forward with a slight tartness and a bit of candied peach underlying. Flavor is like sour candied haribro peach with a bit of light rains and funk backing.

Water Street De-Peche Sour
Draft on tap at Great Taste of the Midwest 2015 (MadisonN WI). Pours a pale golden hue, a mellow hgziness, frothy whitish head atop with mellow lacing. Aromas are peachy, a bit sweet and tart with nice fruit play. Mellow tartness, bready malts and dry grain, subtle citrus grows. Initial is dry, peachy and tart with gentle sweetness, a bit of lactic appeal. Fruity, mellow and crushable with tight tartness, some acidity grows slowly. Mellow straw, cleaner body, solid stuff. An amazing appealing nose and approachable sessioner of a peachy lighter sour. A surprising find at Great Taste 2015.
