Ørbæk Ørbæk’s Porter
Bottle. It pours jet black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee with light licorice notes. A faint egg like off note. The flavor is deep roasted with notes of licorice and coffee. Very nice flavor but an annoying off note in the nose which ruins the overall impression.

Ørbæk Chokolade & Chili Stout
bottle from kvickly spinderiet. pitch dark brown head. salty malt and sweet chocolate in the aroma. i really have to look for chili to find some. flavor is roasted malts, chili, chocolate, quite some cocoa powder and the chili flavor is also very noticeable, without becoming just chili. farly flavorfull for a supermarket beer, you might argue that too much of the flavor is from chili and cocoa, and too little rom roasted malts and hops ( chili totally overpowers whatever hops there might be imo)

Ørbæk Hvidtøl
Bottle 75 cl. Pours dark brown - almost black - with a creamy, beige head. Sweet molasses and malts in the nose, but pleasantly low in diacetyl compared to so many other beers of the style. Fairly light in body, sweetish malty - malt bonbons. Heavy sweetness but never sticky. A surprisingly well made new example of this old, traditional style. 261216

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
