A pale golden cider with aroma of sweet apple pie, light acidity, OK. In mouth, rather bland light apples with light mineral notes. So-so. Can from lcbo.

2 litre plastic bottle found in the bottom shelf at a local whirly-do. Pours almost clear with a yellow tiny, lots of large carbonation bubbles and carbonation gone fast. The aroma is dry apple, simple but not sugary. Flavour is a bit of dry apple, no character, no sweetness, so it delivers in that respect. Mouthfeel is also dry and full. Could have been worse for a plastic jug cider, vaguely drinkable and probably good for backyard parties where you don't especially like who's attending.

Lively carbonation, with bit of a fizzy head. Tastes way too sweet and artificial. Hard to get any grapefruit taste, let alone bitterness that i was expecting.

Crisp and slightly sweet, uncannily similar to a granny smith apple. Is it good? Sure. Exceptional? Absolutely not. It's fine.

Growers Bartlett Pear
Can from LCBO. Pours a clean, almost colourless with just a tad of very light gold. The head fizzes away as soon with no lacing. Just some slow carbonation. Smells like candied pears with hints of caramel in the background. The taste shows the same for both. Pretty mild overall with no sugars lingering on the tongue. Refreshing, crisp, carbonated and fruity. If you like Growers ciders, you will enjoy this.

473ml can, pale yellow pour, some head goes away fairly quick. Apple, honey, tart, some sour, sweet finish with a linger. This is not too for first cider I have tried from this company. Very refreshing.

Growers Harvest Stone Fruit
Can from the lcbo, clear yellow pour with no head. Aroma is sweet fruit, hints of apple, not really stone fruit, just a general sweetness. Mouth feel and carb are ok. Finish is sweet with an odd coconut flavour added to the random fruit sweetness and hinrs of apples.

(2608-260718)

5% ABV. can that pours a clean, very, very light golden colour with a fizzy head that disappears in a second. Pear juices for nose and hints of bubblegum. The taste is the same and the sugars are not too much, as in not too sweet. More on the fruity pear side of things. Decent.

Can. First thing you notice is an aroma that fills the room with fresh peaches. Wow! While the taste doesn't fully deliver on the aroma ( but nothing really can except a fresh peach), it's quite fruity and flavorful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Third cider of the night, can from LCBO. Pours a very light yellow colour with a fizzy head that disappears quickly with no lacing at all. The nose is like outdated grains, with the mild apples in the background. The taste is better with all the honeycrisp apple light taste. I have had Growers cider in the past, and like them. This is probably my least favorite one.

The color is very pale, almost water. Huge aroma of sweet artificial fruit candy, bubblegum. Sweet, tooth aching, artificial pineapple and peach.
I wouldn’t be excited to drink this even if I think of it as a pop.

355ml can. (5.0% ABV) Pours a clear yellow-orange with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Sweet fruity aroma of artificial peach and apple. Sweet fruity flavour of artificial peach, apple and sugar with some tartness in the finish. Light body with a sticky texture and fizzy carbonation. Not very good, this could almost pass for a soda.

2015 Toronto trip +++ Sampled from a 473 ml can this cider poured an extremely pale yellow color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded amazingly quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet apple flesh. The flavor was sweet and tart apple flesh and honey. Long finish. Light body. Yummy.

(Rating #6587)

Tall can. Very pale yellow, clear, with fine carbonation. Aroma is apple candy. Flavour is massive apples, again candyish, and fairly sweet, although it dries out in the finish fairly nicely. This is a bit too candyish for my tastes, but it wasn’t horrible.

Can shared with northropfrye. Pale honey colour. Crystal clear. Faint apple aroma. Tastes a bit washed-out to me. Pretty refreshing on the palate. Not bad but I feel I’ve had better. I was probably hoping for something stronger.

Very light clear body some bubbles floating to the top. Sweet apple and a touch of pastry in the aroma. Kind of sharp, too. Taste is also very sweet. Some honey. This is somewhere in between a mead and a cider. Not boozy. Tastes okay, but pretty much the epitome of alco-pop.

473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear pale golden colour with tiniest of white heads. Aroma is quite strong with sweet red apple with hints of earthy skin. Flavour is on the sweet side but not ridiculously so with lots of juicy red apple and some light skin notes. Medium body. Sweeter than I’d like but not terrible.
