Wildcide Hard Cider
Fermented apple juice is the ONLY ingredient. This is what cider is supposed to taste like. Ignore the ratings of these pretentious aholes. It is refreshing and with an ABV of 6.2, quite sneaky. Enjoy.

Tap. Brownish gold color. Sweet aroma. Some light toffee but otherwise grainy as hell. Not sure why this style doesn’t thrill me as much as I’d think it would. This is rather mediocre.

draft that poured a dark copper color with smallish white head. initial aroma was sweet malts, slight caramel. roasted malts. all of which were quite nice. the flavor was a little sweeter than I expected but you have these malts which make it that way...overall the flavor was smooth caramel sweet malt and I liked it. easy drinking beer if you are not a hop head.

I love it when I can smell the beer when it’s 2ft away. Yellow/orange color. Taste is kind of a sweet fruity biscuit kind of flavor. Long bitter finish. Good and drinkable but I wouldn’t search it out.

Gordon Biersch IPA
On tap at Las Vegas Paradise location. Clear gold in color with a grassy, citrus hop aroma. This must have been dry-hopped too long because it has a very vegetal flavor. Bright citrus flavors are masked.

Gordon Biersch Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout
On draught at the Columbus brewpub. The beer pours a flat black color with a medium foamy khaki head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, oak and malt. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon character and notes of roast malt, vanilla and dark chocolate. The finish is moderately boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Type: 0.6L draft Glass: Gordon Biersch 16-oz. Wallenstein glass From: Gordon Biersch Brewery in San Diego, Calif. Price: $6.95 Purchased: Jan. 23, 2017 Consumed: Jan. 23, 2017 Reviewed as: Irish Dry Stout Misc.: Menu read as 4.5 pct. at Gordon Biersch - Mission Valley, not 5.0 pct. like Beer Advocate This was one of the few ones at Gordon Biersch that I hadn’t had yet and I always love a dry stout. Poured a black color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky khaki head when I got it. Light bubbles coming up from the bottom. Excellent foamy lacing. World-class thick retention. (Sight - 4.50) Smelled roasted coffee, cocoa nibs, semi-sweet chocolate morsels and milk chocolate. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted maybe better than the nose, getting dry cocoa powder, smooth roasted coffee, chocolate milk, semi-charred wood and smoky chocolate. (Taste - 4.00) Full body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00) This was very good. Glad I stumbled onto it. Would have it again for sure. (Overall - 4.00) 3.97 89 B+

14 oz goblet draft at the Gordon Biersch in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is a hazed golden orange with a small white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is herbal sweet, along with fruit and a bit of floral grass hop. The taste is the soft Belgian yeast notes, mostly herbal, balanced softly with the grass floral fruit hop. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation, the finish is grass, softly bitter along with some alcohol. Solid.

Appearance: Bright red copper. Nearly clear. finger of tan foam. Nose: medium sweet caramel. Hints of rye. Citrus hops. Taste: medium sweet caramel. Rye spice characteristics and nice citrus hops. Body: medium to thinner. Lively. Parting thoughts: An interesting rye ipa. As previous reviewers have pointed out the hops and the rye don’t quite mesh.

Gordon Biersch Chum
Draft at Sprenger’s. Pale amber with even, diminishing, yellowy foam. Mild nose of winery cellar, generic malt, and some green bell pepper. Flavor is intense Wheaties with some sparky bitter and honed shards of fruity spice. Conservative carbonation pulls up the perception of body while a light, nearly metallic astringency pushes it down. Stupidly quaffable for 7% plus.
