0,33 l Flasche. Goldgelbes Bier, flacher, weißer Schaum, akzeptable Gardine. Riecht kaum, Hauch von Herbe, sogar nach Mais. Schmeckt dann nur malzig süß, minimal bitter, leicht wässrig. Perfekt für einen extrem heißen Tag. Der war heute aber nicht.

Pale golden with a white head - Hardly any aroma - Weak malt flavour with no bitterness - Hardly any finish - This was just extremely boring and lacks flavours

Bottle. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of pale malts, corn and dough. The taste was similar to the aroma with more malts, corn, dough and a mild aftertaste.

From the bottle. Scent is sweet honey/agave with some cinnamon and wheat smell. Taste is kind of like a sweeter wheat beer. Too sweet for my taste, but an interesting twist.

Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. Not much flavor. Maybe if I was really thirsty it would be OK.

This stuff isn’t bad but it is very light indeed. It’s bright and golden in color w/ a foamy head. There is a bit of grain character here and even a waft of herbal hop aroma and a bit of bitterness in the finish. It’s not as clean as some macro lagers but good enough that what little flavor this has shines though. I drank like eight ounces of it while writing the previous four sentences so it’s got that going for it at least.

Tecate Michelada Diablo
Poured slowly from a chilled aluminum can 24 oz’r into a 24 ounce clear, cleaned glass mug. Aroma: Tomato juiced beer smell, mainly. Appearance: Initially, light red with big bubbles @ the mugs top then not big bubbles but then micro-bubbles. A neat color, really. Taste: Surprisingly tasty. A touch salted to include an easy to swallow aftertaste. Palate: Slick @ the mouths roof side. Overall: @ 3.5 alcohol content; tomato squeeze’ns with Tecate in it. I would’ve included a touch more heat in the mix, but overall, a pretty neat hang over Rx that I enjoy, hangover or not. (And I still enjoy Tecate w/out the frills, anyway, too.)

Unlike most dark beers it doesn’t taste like you’re chewing on a hop. Hops were used as a stability agent in beer for those long sailing ship trips many years ago, they were not used to improve taste.

Bottle 355 ml from an Amazon order. Aroma has some spice to it, doesn’t smell like a lager to me (and I am not sure I like it). Medium sized short-lived white head and a clear golden body. Tastes a little bit like a dry cider mixed with a lager. I couldn’t finish the whole bottle.

I found this in my beercellar, think it’s my wife who bought it...

Today it’s 20C (68F) in the shadow and I just finished mow the lawn.

I thought I could get rid of this now...

Well, in the heat, with a slice of lemon and instead of a glass of water...

Not my cup of tea.

it’s cinco de mayo so we gotta do Tecate. It pours a frothy pee pee yellow with an aroma of frat basement and dirty tennis balls. Tastewise there is minimal activity, this is a simple watery chug it and repeat kinda beer. It is pleasant enough though, certainly not as bad as the rating suggests. It’s a cheap quick beer for when you don’t wanna dilly dally. Good for starting off the weekend wit yo cutie butt on the couch!

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Clear 15.25-oz. pilsner From: Left over from the in-laws Price: N/A Purchased: N/A; Received March 12, 2017 Consumed: March 13, 2017 Reviewed as: German Pilsner Misc.: Best by July 2017 Has vaguely heard of Bohemia beers, but the Gellar’s left it with a bunch of others after my daughter’s fourth birthday party. Beer Advocate calls it a German Pilsner. Going with that. Not expecting much. Poured a light yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass as expected. Decent watery foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00) Smelled usual notes of grass, hay, sweet corn, wheat, honey, cereal and bread. Really good though, true to the style. (Smell - 4.00) Tasted not nearly as good as the smell, but still decent. Got hay, corn, honey wheat, grass, cereal, sourdough bread and spoiled grapes. There was also a slight peppery spice lingering on the palate. (Taste - 3.25) Light body. Thin texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Abrupt, slightly spicy finish. (Feel – 3.25) Wow, I was scared early on that this was going to be good. It was not, but it was decent. (Overall - 3.25) 3.42 78 B-
