Keg at RS HW, 28/03/17 followed by a growler at home 30/03/17. Light murky haze on a yellow orange pour with a solid off white cap that retains well. The nose on this beer is outstanding, dank sticky hop presence, pine resin, fleshy citricana, grapefruit peel, orange pith, straw, toasted brioche. Taste comprises melon, orange pith, light grapefruit, citric tinged straw, toasted bread, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close peppered with dank hop bitterness. This is a super solid session IPA with a big danko hop strike. If the badge had ’Verdant’ or ’Cloudwater’ on it I wouldn’t have thought otherwise. Best MS (RS) beer by a country mile ... could guzzle this for hours! Huge amount of flavour for the ABV.

First the good bit, it has a pleasant citrusy hop aroma, not overpowering but at about the right level for a mid-amber beer. Against this, it is extremely sweet and sickly making it a hard beer to drink in anything other than very small quantities. I certainly wouldn’t look forward to another.
