2.6 Haydnbräu Helles Bottle. Austrian brewery no.64 Well, austro helles. Nothing extra, metallic taste makes it worse. Sadly for take away they have only six packs so I will have to suffer bit more. Wednesday, February 7, 2024

2.9 Haydnbräu Helles Bottle (Dank am See! ): Deep golden, clear, rather quickly collapsing loose white head, sweetish grainy-strawy nose, low bitterness; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, quite light bodied, surely not watery; mild bitter-grainy finish. O.K., just quite similar to an average Bavarian Helles... Thursday, November 18, 2021

2.7 Haydnbräu Helles bottle, bought at the brewpub. Golden yellow, small white head. Hoppy nose, with woody and cardboardy hints. Light-bodied, shy malty base, cardboardy hops in the finish. Wednesday, September 1, 2021

Tuesday, December 11, 2018

2.9 Haydnbräu Helles 330 ml bottle bought at the brewpub, bb 11.12.16 Dark golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of grains, corn, grass, flowers, some cardboard, some honey. Taste is pretty similar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes medium sweet, a bit bitter, floral, grassy, a bit herbal. Quite boring. Flat and characterless, with some cardboard and corn notes I don’t like much. Maybe the bottle is too old. Average Lager. Friday, December 9, 2016

3.4 Haydnbräu Naturtrübes Draught at Haydnbräu, Eisenstadt. Dark yellow, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, white head. Aroma of bread, flowers, honey, grains, some grass. Taste follows this, with some more herbs. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes floral, bready, grassy, a bit sweet, with some honey. Nice one. Quaffable, with nice floral, bready and honey like notes. Drinks clean and fresh. Nothing outstanding, but a really solid style example. Sunday, November 20, 2016
