Marston's EPA (Bottle)
Piwo w kolorze jaskrawożółtym. Piana, niewielka, biała, drobna - ładnie się prezentuje. W aromacie zbyt wiele nie uświadczymy, trochę nut słodowych. W smaku wodniste, lekko słodowe, ale ogólnie nijakie. Wysycenie średnie. Nic specjalnego...

Piana dość obfita, drobne, średnie i duże pęcherzyki. Zostawia szczątkowy lacing. Miedziane, zamglone. Aromat owocowy - jabłkowy, gruszkowy, śliwkowy, winogronowy. Lekki karmel. Słodowe. Kwiatowe. W smaku tostowe, lekko owocowe, lekko winne, karmelowe. Mało intensywne. Nieco wodniste. Goryczka wyczuwalna, bardzo niska, krótka. Wytrawne na finiszu, lekko warzywne chyba, lekko mineralne. Wysycenie niskie do średniego, jak na styl.

Marston’s Early Doors
Cask at The George, Croydon. It pours clear amber with a small, foamy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, resinous, peppery spice, Earl Grey tea and stone fruits. The taste is firmly bitter, dry, earth, resin, black tea, pithy, zesty, soapy citrus, the alcohol hit and some oiliness with a drying finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Actually not as bad as feared. More English Strong than IPA imo.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. This proved to be a malt lead beer with a peachy, apricot fruity note, some alcohol, some drying notes. Easy palate but lacks some depth for the ABV. It's okay.

Marston's Old Empire (Bottle)
50cl bottle from CityAlko, Arsenal Keskus. Pours clear amber with a decent, but short-lived off-white head. Mild fruity and grainy aroma with notes of honey and hints of citrus and caramel, Moderate to medium sweet with mild, but balanced flavours and a fine bitterness. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Cask handpull at County Hotel Ashford JDW. Clear amber colour lasting cream head. Marstons yeasty aroma but then a solid pale ale underneath. Quite bitter on the finish. I had a pint to use a voucher. Yes a decent strong pale ale. I liked it. Excellent condition. Rode the abv well.

Aroma is a mix of flowery, rose-like hops and some caramel. Pours hazy, pale gold, weak head. Quite bready tastewise with some alcohol aftertaste which is bad. Some hoppy bitterness, but alcohol is overwhelming and does not allow to enjoy it.

Marston's Oyster Stout (Bottle/Keg)
A bottle labelled as 'Pearl Jet' from Jason's near NCCU, drunk at home. Aroma: freshly shaved wood. Appearance: hazy cola, 1-2 mm. tan lacing. Palate: light-bodied, rather thin and dry with average carbonation, yet pleasingly complex finish. Taste: well-balanced medium sweet and bitter, liquorice, wood. Tasty, though I prefer something with a bigger kick.

Marston’s Early Doors
Cask handpull at The Crosse Keys London as Marston’s Early Doors, 6.0%. Pours a translucent amber orange, still with a diminishing foamy cream head. Aroma is malted milk biscuits, some flannel, quite airy with the faintest toffee. Touch farty as it drains. Body is rounded and pretty smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is resinous up front, some more of that flannel, malt character is almost creamy but that hop astringency cuts right through it. Long bitter finish. This is a somewhat traditional but tasty and balanced ESB bordering English strong ale. Solid but not spectacular. (5-4-6-4-13=3.2)

Marston's Oyster Stout (Bottle/Keg)
I picked up this bottle at the Alcampo in Sevilla. I tried it yesterday at home in the Cerro del Aguila. In my point of view, I was a bit disappointed about this beer. I waa expecting something with more personnality. First of all, the body is as usual splendid with a deep dark body, white and brown foam, the carbonation is a bit lower than usual. The taste is really bland and watery, few roasted malt, few aromas in general and dry, oyster is not present, mineral, so-so.

Bottle to glass. Nice, rich head and a deep-gold body. Rich with hops. Nice flower/citrus smell and taste. I think I caught a hint of vanilla, too. Complex taste that develops quick and lats long. When it gets a bit warmer, the tastes nd aromas will just explode in your mourh with every sip :)

Marston’s Bloody Doors Off
Cask conditioned at The Flute & Flagon, Solihull, W.Midlands. Burnished gold with white head. There is a toffee'd caramel character to the start of this, doughy. The fruits do come through with a sweetish orange note, jammy, marmalade. It's okay.

Bottle 0,50L. Bought in the local supermarket. Copper color with thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of biscuity malts, caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet at the beginning with the flavor of caramel and bread. Finish is moderate to heavy bitter and reminds me of something burnt. Light to medium body, dry/watery texture, lively carbonation. Under average.
