Dry Dock Whiskey Barrel Aged Hazelnut Double Coffee Porter
Heavy dark brown pour under a fading light tan head. Thick syrupy Porter malt roasty aroma hidden beneath some hazelnut and whiskey stickiness with a little wood and coconut and hazelnutty coffee. Rich full flavor with some boozy whiskey tones right up front with a bit of hazelnut and toasted coconut and woody tones. Coffee and sweet cocoa malt round out a warm and whiskeyed sweet finish. Not too sticky but a little warm. The nuances donít come out all that well.

Pours clear golden colored with about one finger of off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with tropical fruit and grapefruit hop citrus as well as a bit of toasted malt. Dry Dock Grapefruit Double IPA
Pours a murky golden and sports a dull white head. The nose is nothing short of phenomenal. Pink grapefruit and passionfruit. Clean, fresh and juicy. Heavier mouthfeel. Pink grapefruit flesh is dominant. It even finishes with the bitterness that is noted in grapefruit. There is a natural sweetness from the grain that helps balance this brew nicely. I like this a lot. Very well-engineered.

Dry Dock Funk & Sour Batch #1: Brett Stock Ale
From notes. Enjoyed at a tasting at Corbetís house on December 21. 375 mL bottle. Batch #1. The pour is a darker ruby brown with a thick ring of khaki head that hangs around for a while. The aroma is really, really funky. The brett is huge. There is a lot of darker fruits and a good toffee mix with a light breadiness and a good malt backbone. The funk just dominates, and everything else is in the background. Not so much on the flavor. The dark fruits, darker bready malts, and a lighter earthy funk really pop. The barrel and alcohol arenít too bad. The mouth feel is surprisingly chewy for a sour. This is not how it should be. The carbonation is soft, and there is a lingeringly tart dark fruit and strong funk. Itís not terrible, but itís really interesting.

Dry Dock Vanilla Porter (URCA)
12oz can - it pours an intense brown, almost black with a thin light brown head. Wonderful aroma is vanilla dominated with notes of coco puffs, coffee and cream soda. Almost seems like a thin body and a sweet aftertaste. Artificial flavors overwhelm the porter base. However I do taste vanilla beans, chocolate, mild roastiness and a hint of coffee.

Bottle. Blackish with a small tan head. Aroma of whiskey, dark fruits and some mocha. Taste is similar to the nose, dark fruits like, raisins and dates seem to dominate with coffee, whiskey and vanilla also present. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes long and semi-sweet. Overall: I donít get much in the way of hazelnuts, but its still decent.

Dry Dock Grapefruit Double IPA
Slightly hazy golden with a thin sticky white cap. Delightful grapefruit flesh and zest on the nose. Crisp bold and fruity flavor with a big grapefruit citrus zesty flavor and a bit of citric bitterness. Itís fruity and zesty and bitter, but not too much in any direction, so itís delightfully balanced and actually a tad sweet. I normally donít like the grapefruit fruit flavor but this is delightful and makes a great IIPA.

Dry Dock Signature Series Double Apricot Blonde
22oz bottle of the 2016 series poured into a Snifter at 41į. Color is a nice golden amber with good carbonation and a thin tight head. Aroma is fruit and oak. It has a medium body that give a light smooth mouth feel. Flavor is wonderful with oak, vanilla and dried fruit. The oak shows first giving whiskey and vanilla notes and a rich feel, then the apricot shows on the end giving it the fruit notes and a faint sweetness. After taste is dry which balances out the sweetness. Overall it a great brew with big bold flavors, non of which overwhelm the palate. Thanks go to my nephew Brandon for this Christmas present.

A boozy bourbon character, and some apricot. Sounded better than it tasted. A bit sugary sweet, like the sugar they put in to preserve fruit salad. Thanks Jason B. A good sharer on a cold night. Saved most of the bottle or a couple of days and got more bourbon with wood and apricot in the finish.

The aroma is sweet grapefruit juice and some piney hops.

The flavor is sweet caramel malt with tons of grapefruit and a bitter piney resiny finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Dry Dock Funk & Sour Batch #1: Brett Stock Ale
Hazy dark amberish Chestnut hue under a lasting light beige creamy head. Bright tart and citrus juicy fruity nose with yummy jammy berries and dark English raisin-y malts. Bright earthy flavor that has a little bit of a funky bretty pop with dark nutty English malts and a bit of raisin and date, but overall mostly dry and funky and has some dried English fruity tones. Like fruit cake without the sweetness. And then a bretty dry funk at the end. Interesting.

Dry Dock Whiskey Barrel Aged Hazelnut Double Coffee Porter
Draft at North Dock - turbid dark brown - looks kind of still - smells like Cuban coffee, whiskey, and damp oak - mouthfeel confirms the low carbonation - taste is very sugary, with the whiskey very apparent up front - coffee follows, along with some plum and chocolate - a bit of cherry - really hot, boozy finish - a few good things, but overall too sweet and boozy.

Dry Dock Signature Series Imperial Stout (Whiskey Barrel)
2016 Bottling. Black with a medium tan head that slowly diminishes. Bottle was a minor gusher, losing about 1 oz to the sink. Aroma is big and bold with dark fruits, vanilla, spruce and anise. The taste, like the aroma, features dark fruits in the forefront--I get raisins, dates and plums in particular. In addition to the dark fruits there is a big dose of anise, with molasses and black walnuts filling out the back and sides. What I donít get is a lot of whiskey flavor, if any at all, The palate was full smooth and a bit sticky. The finish long and glorious., Overall: I cant speak for past years, but the 2016 is top shelf stuff,
