Ninkasi Tripel Belgian-Style Ale
Bomber. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with notes of clove, bubblegum and floral and citrus hops. Pours clear golden colored with a thin white head that has little retention but some lacing. Starts with spicy Belgian yeast, clove and bubblegum flavors. Finishes smooth and dry with floral and citrus hop flavors with spicy notes that linger on the palate at the end of each sip. Pretty good tripel.

Ninkasi Critical Hit Barley Wine
Big bottle. Dark amber color with an off white head. Sweet alcohol with a lot of hops aroma. Sweet plum malt up front with a hops finish that lingers. Heavy body. Nice balance of malt hops that disguise the alcohol content. Not a traditional barley wine but is very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ninkasi Pacific Rain
12 oz single bottle purchased from Rothís Vista Market in Salem OR $1.69 Pours a clear lighter golden colour with a small yet persistent frothy white head. Aroma is rather on the subdued side, lighter tropical fruity hops and biscuit like malts. Taste is altogether more meaty and substantial.. Hoppy , grains(in the best way) and a touch of sweet honey in the end. Good smooth substantial mouth feel for style. I am judging this as a blonde ale..which i think it is..and its an excellent one.

A pretty deep red. Toasted malt with some light caramel, some faint citrus, and a rounded malt toned hop bitterness. I wish it was a bit rougher.

Ninkasi Megalodom
Bomber from CraftShack. Pours clear copper with a white or near-white head. Lots of citrus; a hint of floral; maybe garlic in very very low level? Med ++ body. Flavor is lots of citrus, some pale fruit, a little floral, and I think a little garlic does sneak in. Is it dry? Itís so hoppy and bitter itís hard to say. Clearly enough malt to support a ton of hops tho. Mild hop burn in the finish. Doesnít seem heading for dank tho.

Ninkasi Ground Control - Bourbon Barrel Aged
Have had the original, and now the barrel aged version. Yes, itís rich, sweet and very pleasant, but somehow with the barrel aging it becomes difficult to distinguish flavors. A flavorful mess perhaps? I think Iíd prefer the original. 3.8

Taste has a moderate pine and grapefruit bitterness, longer pine resin finish. Bitter is showcased but not overwhelming. Texture is crisp. Delicious.

Ninkasi Velocihoptor Double IPA
22 oz bomber. Pours hazy reddish amber with a big rocky off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is rye malts with spicy piney hops.

The flavor is sweet bready rye caramel malt with a little fruit and spicy piney peppery hops with good bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice DIPA. Reminiscent to Hog Heaven.

12 oz single bottle from Mollyís Spirits, no freshness date. Clear, ruby, reddish appearance with a tan head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel malt, musty hops and a touch of dark fruits. Similar flavor, resinous, bitter and boozy, kind of unpleasant and possibly oxidized. Medium body with a thin, watery feel and an astringent finish. Pretty rough and hard to drink overall.

Ninkasi Believer Double Red
Mahogany with a thin beige red. Malty aroma with notes of roasted grains and plum. Flavors follow with big malt notes, dark grains and a moderately aggressive hop bite. Full bodied. Long bitter finish. Not wild about the trend to over hop red ales. While I can enjoy this one, I am definitely not a believer.

Ninkasi Helles Belles
Bottle: Pours a light golden color, slight haze, and topped with a finger of creamy white head. Potent aroma is lightly lager malt sweet, but pungent with florals and bitters, ripe enough to make Keith Stoneís face wrinkle like a raison. Softer in the taste, mostly a sweet malty and grassy vibe to go with minimal bitters. Easy drinker.

Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA
12 oz bottle from Growlers to Go in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a clear amber color with a small off-white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma of floral hops and pale malts greet you. The ale has a very balanced structure with mildly bittering hops with a strong alt backbone. The ale has a medium body and average carbonation The flavor is clean with fresh citrus hops upfront. Bitterness fades early, making this an accessible and easy-drinkable IPA.

Appearance: slightly hazy pale straw with one fat finger of pillowy white head, good retention and minimal lacing. (3/5) Aroma: pale crackery malt, lime, clove, grassy hay. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-low bitter, light spice. (6/10) Palate: medium-light body, lively carbonation, dry lightly spicy finish. (3/5) Well, I went into this with zero expectations, so I canít say Iím disappointed. And, initially, I thought this was going to be decent - but the lime and clove diminish rapidly, leaving behind a crackery pale malt that resembles a macro lager. Not a patch on a real Belgian. (12/20)

Look at that label, itís by far the best thing about this beer. And itís not a good label. Iíve never been a fan of sessionable IPAs. Theyíre often bitter, but not flavourful, and Iíd rather drink 1/2 as many good beers. So, this is fine...itís got a lot of bitterness, grapefruit and pine tar aromatics, but itís hella chalky and cloudy with some particulates. Pass.

22 oz bottle purchased from Fred Meyer in S.Salem OR $5.99 Pours a dark orange/amber colour with a nice sized frothy light tan head. Fruity and pine like aromas..some resin and strong hints of caramel malts. Same in the taste..but more resinous dank PNW style hops. Good medium creamy mouth feel..long drawn out after taste of hops. This is a traditional Oregon style Double IPA..almost seems quaint!

Ninkasi Beer Run IPA
I donít know anything about Track Town USA, but I do know that this is a tasty IPA, and probably the best thing Iíve had from Ninkasi. My bottle was probably a little too old. In spite of that, or maybe even because of that, it was dank, strong, bitter, and really tasty. It poured a cloudy orange with average head. The aroma was lemons, buttery bread, and something that reminded me of slightly under-ripe berries. Tangy, with a lot of bite. The flavor was smoother than the aroma implied, and far maltier, but still had strong, up-front hoppiness. The finish had citrus vapor and a little bit of dank punch. This was a darn good bottle of beer.
