Draft at Wegman’s. Pours hazy, bright gold with frothy, white head. Nose is pale malt, hops, citrus, florals. Tastes hoppy, pale malty, citrus fruity, floral, smooth and fairly complex mouthfeel. I have no issues describing this as a 90 percentile blonde ale.

New Belgium Hop Kitchen - Juicy Mandarina IPA
Cloudy fluffy golden color with a large tight white fluffy white head. Lovely nose of fluffy yeasty citrus and fresh cut grass and fresh earthy hop resins. Delightful flavor that’s smooth and balanced but has a lovely citric bitterness about it, which isn’t too bitter, but has a delightful smooth and fluffy body with gentle leafy fresh pine and orange flesh tones with a chewy pale malt body and light fresh leafiness about it. Hard to explain but it’s a smooth and balanced and delightful NE Style IPA.

New Belgium / Orval Lips of Faith Anne-Françoise Spiced Imperial Dark Ale
Sweet, full of rich caramel malt and dried dark fruits, spiced notes melding with a strong woodsy bitterness. Some chocolate and pepper on the finish, with a heavy oak vein drying out the fade. Not my favorite but drinkable.

I really enjoyed the initial citrus flavor. The strong aftertaste of hops was pretty overwhelming. A good beer to have with food but i would not want to drink it alone.

New Belgium French Oak Saison
Peppery saison aroma with some lactic sour. Sour maybe 2 or 3 of 10 sour. The lactic sour adds nicely to the saison. Really does taste like a peppery saison with golden sour. Nice but not mind blowing.

New Belgium / Firestone Walker Fat Hoppy Ale
Average medium brown color, copious head. Smell of citrus and hops, with a hint of funkiness I can’t quite explain. Taste is good, citrus and pine, hops... it’s light, so easily drinkable. Missing a bit of complexity that the IPAs have, but good beer.

New Belgium Dayblazer Easygoing Ale
24 oz. can from Total Wine. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a small fizzy white head. Very faint toasted malt aroma. Light toast with a little hay in the background. Light honey sweetness. Very light dry hop bitterness. This lightness is all well balanced, but it’s, well, very light. Definitely well made, but not all that interesting. It would make an excellent lawn mower beer which I’m sure was the intent.

New Belgium French Oak Saison
Bomber from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours bright gold with a white head. Fine bubbles in the head. Aroma of earth, yeast, and citrus with a definite sourish aspect. Med body or so. Flavor is quite Belgian. It’s moderately, very lightly moderately earthy sour. Can’t identify a particular bacterium. There’s somewhat astringent wood. Somehow it seems to be a bit on the fruity and undry side. But it is very tasty and pleasant. Very farmhousey. Think citrus definitely is in the finish. It’s a heck of a nice drink.

This is definitely a Sour that’s shamelessly designed for mass appeal, but it drinks rather nicely. Pale yellow color. Spicy and lemony nose. Tastes like, well, lemon and ginger. Lightly tart finish. Very easy to crush one.

Pours whitish-yellow, not much foam but still, some lacings left on the glass. Aroma has some lemon tartness, together with soft lemon peel marmalade and herbal saison yeast bitterness. Fruity. Taste is refreshingly tart, not really acidic, just tart and fresh. Bit of tannins scratching the tongue but otherwise nice and pleasant simple quaffer.

Slightly hazy yellow to straw gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma is lactic tartness, lemon, earthy spice, hints of berry and wet grain. Flavor is bread, sweet lemon, flour, light floral notes, raw dough, under ripe mulberries and just a hint of earthy ginger. Light body, crisp, acidic feel throughout, medium, blanketing and quite sharp carbonation. Pretty good stuff, nothing too interesting, but nice and refreshing.

Dimmig brunröd öl med ett beige skum. Doft och smak av fikon, mörka frukter, jäst, malt och framförallt kryddor. Lite för spretig plus att något i kryddningen inte är hundra för mig.

New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA
Bottle 355 ml / Drinks of the World - Bern (CH). Golden-amber blonde with an average off-white head and numerous laces. Aromas of tangerine, properly according to the commercial description, lemon-orange-herbs. The taste is pleasantly fruity of citrus, tangerine-orange first with zest, herbs, slight malt and caramel. The final remains on tangerine and bitter of citrus zest.

New Belgium Juicy Watermelon
This shit is really good if you like lighter beers. It’s golen w/ a creamy white head that leaves thick rings of lace w/ each sip. The first thing I notice is an almost exaggerated toasty malt presence which reminds me a bit of Honeycombs cereal. The melon and lime here are very subdued and the melon is not all sweet and candy-like but more of a cucumbery floral note. There is a touch of lime zest flavor and a hint of tartness but nothing over the top. This is light on the palate but not thin w/ gentle carbonation. All and all, this is a very drinkable beer that delivers the flavors promised on the label w/o being over-the-top or stupid. This makes it better than like 90% of craft beer.

New Belgium Love - Felix-Oscar Blend - Apple Whiskey Barrel
Described as cherry Felix love, pale sour aged in Apple whiskey barrels w/cherry. 8.5%abv. Nice lactic sour aroma and flavor. Sour maybe 5 or 6 of 10. Nice pucker sour. Tannic dry oaky woody comes through well with the Apple whiskey. It is very nice balanced sour and complex. The apple whiskey comes through quite nice in this one. I am questioning if there is additional cherry in this or just dark fruit woody flavors in the finish. It is really good either way!!

New Belgium Whizbang Hoppy Blonde Ale
Hazy deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thin off-white head about a centimetre tall, but a nice tinted body. Aroma of bright hops with a very bitter quality, but seemingly short-lived and a mellow malt presence, along with a touch of sugars noticeable in the nose. Light-bodied; Grassy and very herbal hoppiness noticeable up front with a big bitterness, but ending fairly shortly thereafter with a mellow malty flavour and a very grassy and herbal finish that shows a ton of character. Aftertaste is pungent and quite bitter, almost exclusively from the hops, but ends a few seconds later, when some of the malt shows through, but this is nice and relatively simple with the hops first, the malt second and only dry flavours on the end. Overall, a nice and easy drinking Blonde with a ton of character and a biting hop bitterness on the end - great to sample and well worth tryingj if you like lighter Ales. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Washington (West End), D.C. on 11-March-2017 for US$1,50 sampled at home in Washington on 21-April-2017.

New Belgium Juicy Watermelon
12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent thin yellow color with lively medium carbonation which dissolved the half finger head in 30 seconds. Aroma of hard water, light grain, and not much else. Hits the mouth with light body, watermelon comes shining through from start to finish, malt is very light, very little sweetness. Very one dimensional.

New Belgium Voodoo Ranger 8 Hop Pale Ale
A dull gold color with a sudsy head of white foam. Prominent caramel malt base with a rather mellow hop profile considering there is a blend of a 8 hops in here. Nonetheless very refreshing and dank enough to drink the regular.
