Barley BB10° (Dexi)
So intense the aroma, dark fruits, cocoa, dates, plums, grapes and also pear, brown with reddish reflections, medium body, a bit oily, carbonation is soft, taste is similar with more dark fruity notes, again cocoa and figs....great beer, maybe for me not enough thick to drink alone in a dark night like other strong barley wine or irs but perfect with a good dessert.

Barley Friska
0,75 bottle at Cagliari airport (Italy) Baccusardus. Opalescent yellow color, bright white medium foam. Nose: yeasty forward, almond milk start, crumb, citrus is hidden. Mouth starts yeasty, sweet, a bit fruity pulp (sweet). Finish is a bit spicy. This is a real reinterpreted wit.

Barley Sella del Diavolo
0,75 bottle purchased at Baccusardus in Villasimius (Italy), consumed at home. A fantastic pour, amber/orange bright and a bit hazy with a frothy and creamy cap. Nose: much roast, soft smokiness, a bit cheesy in a way, wet wood, sultana. Mouth: carbonation is medium to high, again roasted grains, grounded barley, the finish is clean and kind of watery (+). I have perceived a note of burnt wire somehow, which honestly I should try to determine if is an off thing or something I messed up. Good beer all in all.

Barley Toccadibò
0,75 bottle at Baccusardus in Villasimius (Italy), consumed at home. Cloudy orange color, irregular medium-low white foam with a decent retention. Nose: surprisingly rustic, malt leftovers, pollen, almonds, almonds cookiesy, honey royal jelly. Different and amazing. Mouth: balanced, really in style with a peculiar personality. I can spot caramel and cocoa notes, medium-high carbonation, warming abv, charming sweet (and frizzy finish). Complex and tasty!

Barley BB6
0,75 bottle at Baccusardus in Villasimius (Italy). Semi clear golden bright color, long lasting white head. Nose: aggressively citric, wild dried berries, green pepper. Mouth recalls its sister BB7, pretty much. This one is less citric, more fruity, a bit malty. Finish is medium dry, silky bitter and spicy. The most sessionable among the serie, tasty one.

Barley BB7
0,75 bottle at Baccusardus in Villasimius (Italy). Orange cloudy bright color, medium white foam pretty regular. Nose: dried berries, wild flowers, hedge smell, canditi, dried candy orange peel. Mouth is very charming, balanced, consistent. Floral white wine, hoppy, grassy bitter finish. Barley's best imo, by far...so far.

Bottle 0,75 at Baccusardus in Cagliari airport (Sardinia-Italy). The appearance of their beers is unique and this one is just great. Bottle picked up from Eataly. Genoa, consumed at Fairport Annual Reunion, Friday 11th August 2017. The colour (cheers Bob) is hard to determine owing to the rather tricky drinking vessel, however think light amber. Fruity in the mouth, pokey but (Loz big fan) nice, a bit of warmth. colore ambrato, schiuma poco persistente. Al naso malto tostato, crosta di pane, fiori e foglie di arancio lievi sentori di pepe. All’assaggio arancio, caramello, malti tostati. Corpo leggero e carbonazione poco persistente. una birra molto delicata ed equilibrata, difficile da categorizzare e che con un sapiente utilizzo dei luppoli garantisce un’ottima bevuta.
