Bottle, from a store in Prague. There is nothing particularly offensive about this beer, But on the other hand, this sweet, watery, coppery translucent lager is 100% forgettable. I still don’t get this style.

Klarowne, barwa słomkowa. Piana szybko opada. Aromat nikły, słodowy, z delikatną nutką diacetylu. Czuć też odrobinę tego słynnego mokrego kartonu. W smaku podobnie.

Barva i pěna odpovídající. Vůně velice příjemná sladová. Nástup výrazné chlebové chuti, říz mírný, tělo na desítku přiměřené. V dozvuku slad, připečené pečivo, hořkost střední. Na desítku chuťově velice zvláštní..

Bottle. Dark golden beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is yeasty with maltiness and some dryness. The flavour has a gentle bitterness with maltiness and yeastiness, with quite a sharp bitter finish. Overall a reasonable malty and bitter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copenhagen 26/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Part of a Ferdinand Gift pack with 4 beers. Golden label with shields, crown and other Central European nostalgic paraphernalia. Pours clear golden yellow with white head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweet pale malts, hint of caramel and metallic alcohol. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by quite sharp sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter and slightly metallic Impressively boozy for a beer with an ABV of only 6,5.

Copenhagen 8/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Part of a "Ferdinand-giftbox". Brown label with all the mandatory heraldic stuff with shields, banners and a lot of gold. Why feel cheap when drinking beer? Pours clear red tinged amber with white head. Settles as 1 cm thick creamy layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet and quite intense. Caramel, brown sugar with light sour notes. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is quite sweet followed by medium bitterness. Pleasant Czech variation of a Vienna Lager.

Copenhagen 2/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Giftbox in SuperBrugsen. Quite typical Czech label with some heraldic stuff, a shield and a lot of gold. Pours clear yellow with big white head. Settles as stable 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma of sweet malts with salty hints and a little bitterness. Not very intense but pleasant enough. Quite strong carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by more dominant bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. A quite generic Czech pilsner, which does not mean it’s bad - but that it is rather predictable.

Miedziane, klarowne ze świetną, wysoka pianą. W aromacie i smaku jest jakby nieco gorzej, ale nie jakoś źle. W aromacie trochę karmel, nieco ziół i trochę owoców. W smaku analogicznie. Dosyć słodko. Do tego lekko wodniście. Nagazowanie średnie. Goryczka występuje - aczkolwiek jest typowa dla lagera. Poprawne.

Bottle 0,5l from supermarket. Dark brown color, clear, very sparkling with frothy head, whis is away in a second. Looks like a coke. Aroma malty, very slightly roasty and also with caramel. Taste is sweet, caramel, malty, with bitter tones of coffee and maybe salt in the middle? Aftertaste is sweet, little with roasted/coffee tones. Strong carbonation, medium body. Tastes are scattered, it is sweet (due to sugar in ingredients), so I don’t consider it as a good beer. For me weak, maybe aborted batch...

Pours beautiful clear copper color with medium, slightly off-white head. Smell is a bit unusual, a bit herbal but mostly vegetable. Medium body with oily texture and vivid carbonation. Mostly bitter taste. Aroma of herbs, spices, vegetable malts and yeast. Bitter mouthfeel and dry finish. Overall, interesting. Takes time to get used to, but not bad. Not for everyone, tho.

Taste is sickening cough syrup, spoiled milk, leaves medicinal, sough syrup, feces. Creamy rotting leaves body. I suspect that the keg went bad, this isn’t normal.
