Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is almost oil. Carbonation is average. Finish is quite long, malty, but dry and medium bitter. Crisp, but rich pilsener. Good one.

0,5 l on tap at Godec pub. Pours clear yellow with big thick white lasting head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma of malt, bread with pilsner pollen touch and herbal noble hop aroma. Slightly grainy. Taste is light bitter sweet. Body is refreshing, but not watery. Texture is slick with average carbonation, finish is light bitter. For 4% ABV it’s surprisingly rich. Almost perfectly balanced and drinkable. Top pilsner by any rate.

Many bottles from Pezinská pivná pumpa. This is my absolute favorite lawnmower beer. And not only because of 1.5l package. It has excellent appearance with big white head. Ideal carbonation and perfectly balanced taste. One of the best, if not the best, Czech pilsner.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. golden clear color, small white head. smells chlorophyl, bit soapy, grassy, bit buttery. not overly fresh smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick moutfheel. tastes grassy, herbal, chlorophyl, grainy, peppery, light ripe fruits. finishes lightly bitter with notes of grains, chlorophyl and some peppery notes. tastes rather oldish, overall still drinkable but not overly exciting.

Koutský 12° Světlý Ležák
Draught at Salon Piva, Bratislava.
Deep golden, clear body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grains, flowers, herbs, bread, some honey, some sweet fruits, some soap.
Tastes similar, also with some soap.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, herbal, grassy, floral, grainy, a bit sweet.

Nice one. The soapy notes are a bit distracting, but not that much, still really quaffable. Nice herbal and floral notes throughout. If this wasn’t for the slight off-notes, this would be a great Pils.

Amazing body for such a low alcochol beer. Really well balanced brew. Nothing to add, nothing to take away. Traditional pilsner. However bit plain, but it is a very drinkable beer.

Kran. W aromacie poza klasycznymi nutami słodowymi i kwiatowymi nieprzyjemna siarkowo - jajeczna nuta. W wyglądzie bursztynowe, klarowne, z ładną pianą. W smaku słodowo, ziołowo, chlebowo, spora goryczka, smaczne i całkiem bogate. Pijalność spora. Ogólnie bardzo dobry czeski pils, główny minus to średnio przyjemny zapach.
