Arbor Pocket Rocket
Half-pint, keg, shared with Finn at Commercial Rooms (JDW). Filmy layer over a cloudy orange coloured body. Spotty lacing. Floral hops on the nose, citric hints. Succulent fruity taste profile, citrus and pine. Half-dry, fruity bitterness to the ending. Pleasant and refreshing early on a Sunday. (Bristol 30.04.2017).

Arbor Yakima Valley American IPA
Bouteille 56.8cl, V&B Grenoble.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy amber coloured with a thick white head. It has orange and pineapple flavours followed by warming dried fruit and sherry notes on the fruity, powerfully alcoholic finish. Good.

Arbor / Mezzo Passo Basta Rosse

Arbor Pocket Rocket
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, melon, lemon, slight grapefruit, maybe mango, some straw and subtle floral hops. Taste of orange, lemon, melon, slight spice, maybe herb, a little straw and some floral hops. Light bodied and flat carbonation. A soft, jellied orange, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Zesty and fruity, kind of a fruit pastille thing going on. A little thin and slightly flat but decent.

Wowe this is boozy ! Ok , some smooth oak, smoke , dark cherry , sultana -pretty griping in an alcoholic cloying bitterness . Its a fun beer , but some age could really up the complexity .

Arbor The Devil Made Me Brew It

On tap at Vrte?ka. Hazy golden body with a creamy white head. The aroma, quite unique really, fell somewhere between bubblegum and tropical fruit, initially figured there could be Sorachi in there but not really. Very balanced taste with the bubblegum/tropical notes breaking through a soft bready maltiness, the hops leaving a light bitterness. Very good, excellent even session IPA.

Aroma is malty with little fruit. Dark in colour with an insane amount of sediment. Taste marries with the aroma; malt and biscuit with some fruit in the background. Feels like a bit of an old fashioned DIPA but pleasant nevertheless. Certainly decent for the price.

Keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Murky orange body with a dense off-white head. No visible carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of lemon and basil. Flavour of minerals and cigarettes. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. There’s a flinty quality to this, which I don’t normally associate with the hops used (Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra).

Arbor Why Kick A Moo Cow
September 27, 2015 - At The Lyric (Soho) - keg draught. Very cloudy orange-gold with a small creamy beige head. Woo-hoo, that aroma! - complex, bitter, tons of tropical fruit with black pepper overtones and some alcohol - almost a 9. Screw it, it IS a 9. Taste follows, less everything, a bit sharp, but a terrific bitter/fruity balance - damned fine. Thick and chewy body, solid carbonation with a surprisingly quick finish for all the bitterness - no linger. Terrific stuff.
