Barley Johns Sterling IPA Barley John's Brew Pub New Brighton, Minnesota
Beer style: IPA Ref: ratebeer.com Jun2024
Common descriptors are Sterling hops are an Americanized version of the Noble German Saaz that one normally finds in Pilseners and light German Lagers. Having a higher Alpha Acid content, we thought they would be perfect for an IPA. This IPA is more subtle and nuanced than our Stockyard IPA (think understated Pilsener complexity, rather than the in your face of a standard IPA), but it is also more bitter to satisfy even the biggest Hop Head.
