Once all malt was dried by wind, sun or fire. This ale uses malt dried from Beechwood fires, popular in Bamburg, Germany. Our smoked ale, in the Porter style, has a full bodied malt sweetness that comes from the use of chocolate and Munic malts, with a nice light smokiness from its aroma through to the finish.
