This pure strong beer specialty appears in a full red and mahogany brown colour with a long standing head that is reminiscent of the cream of top of a cappucino. Its aroma can be compared to a basket of tropical fruit, with hints of peach and melon. But one can also smell shades of apple, orange, pineapple and banana. With the first sip, the syrupy-wet liquid tastes sweet, much like honey or liquor. The strong flavour of caramel is followed by a bitter and warm aftertaste.
